Daily Inspiration: Life is...

Good morning! Thank God it's holiday. Well, thank you to Andres Bonifacio. I will have time to finish my MTOs and to spend some quality time with my little Matt. Matt is so talkative, as in. He will never stop until you listen to him and say yes. He repeats all the words he hears so we are really careful with what we speak.

Moving forward, here's our Daily Inspiration for today.

Life is life. Don't always try to change it the way you want it to be. Just go with the flow and enjoy life.

Happy Friday!

Daily Inspiration: Tired? Just turn to God...

Hello! Still a busy mommy here so this will just be a quick post. Today should have been my late father's 73rd birthday. It still hurts and I will miss him forever. I know, wherever he is right now he is happy.

Here's our Daily Inspiration for today.

All of us experienced downtime. It is just normal, after all we are only human. When you are tired, stressed and hopeless just turn to God. Spending time with Him will give back your strength and refresh your system.

Photostory: Christmas Lights at CLSU

This photo is the main gate of our Alma Matter, Central Luzon State University (CLSU). This has been the traditions every Christmas to decorate the main gate and put so many Christmas lights and Santa Claus of course.

Too bad, when we got home almost two weeks ago they don't light the lights yet.Well, anyway, I do hope we can still catch this up when we go home maybe this December or January. I am super sure Matt will love it.

Daily Inspiration: Candle or Mirror

Oh my sorry! I almost forgot to post an inspirational quote for us. As usual, I am busy and getting busier each day. I know being busy means good for me, for my family and for our small business. I am happy to know there are more and more people are trusting me. I will definitely give you the best service I can. Though there a one or two customers whom I have encountered a little problem with. At the back of my mind, this business will never be good without hard to deal with customers. Right?

So here's our Daily Inspiration for today.

source

Which makes me think, am I the candle or the mirror. I think I can be both. Being a mother, I am the candle that gives light to my family. A mother will always be in between of everyone in the family comes conflict and misunderstanding. A mother enlighten her children whenever they are in doubt or unsure. I am pretty sure that most of us run to our mothers when the going gets though.

On the other hand, I can be the mirror that reflects the light. To my friends, colleagues and my readers, I try to spread the light with you. But since I am not as always string so I need someone to light me up at those times.

Be the candle or the mirror, and spread the light!

Happy Wednesday!

Photostory: Instagram

It is such a shame to admit but I am new to Instagram. Okay, I have seen a lot of Instagram photos on Facebook,  twitter, blogs and the likes. I actually thought the application is for iPhone or iPad only. It was only yesterday that I have discovered I can download Instagram app for Matt's Samsung Galaxy Tab. I was like Daddy look Instagram app works with Samsung! Lol.

So here's my Instagram photo of me with a shorter hair. Oh yes, after more than 7 months, I had my haircut. Don't ask me why, because I really am busy with work, family, home, shop, crocheting, blogging... Hehe.

I wonder if Instagram app will work with Nokia phones as well, anyone? Thanks in advance.

Daily Inspiration: Thankful Receiver

Good morning! I am busy as ever. Last night we slept really late just to finish the orders but unfortunately we failed to so I just texted my client to move the deadline tomorrow. Lucky me because she is so understanding. More than anything else, I value the quality so I make sure every MTO are made slowly but surely and beautifully.

Last night also, we found out that the LET September 2012 Examination Results is out already. My sister-in-law passed the exam. Check out Daddy Allan's post. He is such a proud kuya. Congratulations Det and blowout naman dyan,  lol.

And today, we are celebrating our 112th monthsary. Sounds like "corny" but yes, we always remember to greet each other every 27th day of the month. Daddy wrote such a heartwarming post to my surprise, I almost cry. I love you Daddy and that is forever!

Whew, so many things to thank for. Here's our Daily Inspiration for today.

As I already said, there are so many things to thank for. So let us set aside all our worries and be thankful in every thing God is giving us. I know that there are so many times I dwell with negative things but at the end of the day I always count my blessings (little or big). Let us be thankful, as always, to receive more blessings.

Happy Tuesday!

Daily Inspiration: I have the Power

Good morning! Have you watched the Zoren-Carmina wedding last Saturday night? Zoren is such a sweet, romantic man right? And Carmina is so lucky to have him. Imagine, she was spared with all the stress of planning a wedding. I can see she's so happy and I can't help but cry as I watch her crying while walking down the isle to mett Zoren. I am praying that they will really grow old together.

For today, here's our Daily Inspiration

I know that my happiness relies in my hand that's why I choose to be happy, as much as possible :) Unfortunately, there are times that I feel too weak and let events ruin my happiness. But God is always good for He let me see the light as always.

Just Got My Own Domain

I already told you I have my own domain now from Go Daddy courtesy of Daddy Allan, who actually bought his own domain too. I got it earlier than my goal, that is early next year.

I am over excited that finally I will have my own domain, www.momaye.com. Unfortunately, this is not as easy as I thought it could be. My Alexa Rank and Page Rank are back to ZERO. I will really really appreciate if you can share tips and your experiences about having your own domain the very first time.

Also, please do add my own domain to your blog roll or list. If you have momayes.blogspot.com to your list,  please change it to www.momaye.com. I will appreciate it much!

That's it and thank you so much for always being here.

P.S.: I already announce the two  winners of Momaye's Shoppe's Early Christmas Giveaway. Again, congratulations and thank you for joining. I will surely have a follow up giveaway, very soon. So just keep posted.

Daily Inspiration: A Little Hope to Love

Good morning! Compared to past three days, I feel a lot better today. It helps that I just keep my silence and think. And to inspire you and of course me, here's our Daily Inspiration for today.

For the past three days, I am emotionally down, almost losing hope in one of the important persons in my life. Yeah, I am mad at him because he is very difficult to deal with. But I still have this little hope in my heart. I am hoping and praying that one day he will realize that we are never his enemies and that all we want for him is only his goodness. That little hope is just enough to still love him despite everything he is doing.

Life is beautiful and God is really good. Have a great day ahead of us!

Photostory: Coloring Books

Apart from story books and puzzles, Matt loves coloring books too.

No, he don't do it by himself. His Tita guided him all throughout. He is learning really fast. I think he is already coping with the terrible twos phase and it is shifting to terrific twos. He can control his emotions better now. So I hope it will go on smoothly. Thank God!

Havaianas Design A Smile

Moms and Dads, if you have an artistic kid then why not bring them to Havaianas Design A Smile at Mommy Mundo Bazaar this November 24-25, 2012.

From the Press Release:

First launched in 2010, Havaianas Design a Smile gives children the chance to show their artistic talents by designing the next Havaianas Smile pair – a special design which will be produced into an actual Havaianas pair. A percentage of the sales will be donated to Operation Smile Philippines, a non-profit organization which provides life-changing surgeries to children with cleft lips and cleft palates. The initial run generated more than 2,000 entries and raised more than PHP 100,000 from donations alone during this period.

“Havaianas believes that summer is a state of mind and can be lived every day of the year whenever you adopt a happy and carefree attitude,“ shares Anne Gonzalez, Managing Director of Havaianas Philippines. “And nowhere else is that more evident than in children. With Havaianas Design a Smile, we hope to generate funds and awareness to support Operation Smile in our shared mission to spread smiles all over the world.”

This November to January, Havaianas Design a Smile 2 is back, with the theme “Paying it Forward: Kids Helping Kids.” Beginning November 24th, artistically inclined kids can join Havaianas Design a Smile by submitting their designs illustrating their answer to the question “What will you do to make other people smile?” at partner events nationwide, beginning with the Bonifacio Global City Passion Fest at Bonifacio High Street from November 23 to 25, and at the Mommy Mundo Bazaar at the Rockwell Tent from November 24 to 25. Winners will receive exciting prizes from Havaianas, Bobble, Pininho, Hobbes and Landes, McDonald’s, and Sony. The grand prize winner will also have his or her design produced as part of the Havaianas 2014 Collection as the Havaianas Smile pair, with a percentage of the sales from which will help fund the operations of Operation Smile

Daily Inspiration: Misunderstanding

Good morning everyone! Sharing with you our Daily Inspiration for today.

I am not emotionally okay. I am tired, stress and... Oh well, I am not used to telling too personal matters here. But yeah, I am still human after all. I can't be always okay. No it's not about, Matt or Daddy Allan. Amazingly, we have a peaceful family of three. It's someone I love that can't understand that what I am telling him is all for his goodness.

I hate that every time I try to talk to him about his personal issues, he will misunderstood me. I try to live peacefully. I try to be equal and fair to every body, including him. I love them all, but he don't understand that. He's always saying bad words and swear not to ask for anything from me, but then he always eat his words. And me, I always eat my ego and extend my hands to him. All because I love him and I don't want any conflict, for we are family.

I am torn right now. I want to help him but it seems he will never understand my intentions. In any case, even if he hated me for what I have told him, I am still here for him. No matter what he thinks, I am praying he will realize that his family will always be there no matter what. His friends will leave him at the end of the road, but never his family. I am praying he will realize that all I want is for him to have a better life.

So now, for my own self, I will stop explaining. I will just pray for him.

Still a Happy Monday everyone.

Daily Inspiration: Everything will be Alright

Good morning! It is always feel good to be at your home where you grew up.. Today is the christening of my sister's little angel. She will also turn one on November 20th so this is a double celebration. Time flies really fast that as if only yesterday we are just two little girls who were together playing with our lutu-lutuan made up of tin can and clay. Now, we are both a wife and a mother. #sentimodeagain

Before I forget, here's our Daily Inspiration.

source
I always try to be a strong person. I try to be positive in the middle of trials and think that everything happens for a reason. At some point, I can't always be strong. I need my family, my husband, my son and most of all God. I need them to give me an assurance that everything will be okay. That's why, in every trial I am facing, I always leave it to God. He is the greatest assurance that everything will be alright.

Have a Blessed Sunday. Don't forget to give phrases and thanks to our Heavenly Father.

Daily Inspiration: Choosing to be Positive

Hello everyone! I almost forgot our Daily Inspiration. I am preoccupied and still, with works and sideline works. I need to finish sending reports but the internet connection won't cooperate. Hey Smart, what's happening with you? This has been days and our connection at home is much worst than this. Added to this is that the computer of our Admin Assistant crashed and we can't open it. The updated reports are all there. She needs to update it now because we need to send report within the day. Yesterday, we were so busy with costing report and thank God we already finished and sent the report just before the clock strike 5pm. Oh my, this week is really packed and is not done then yet because I need to update our master list of quality records. Tomorrow we need to go our hometown for my niece Christening. Yay!

NO. NO. NO. No negativits, only POSITIVE vibes so here's our Daily Inspiration.

Just be positive and grateful. Let us drive negativity away.

Thank God it's Friday!

Photostory: Puzzle Wizard

This was taken just this morning.

While Daddy and I are having our breakfast, Matt was quietly sitting at our living room. When we were done eating, I approached him and looked at what he was doing. To my surprise, I saw the puzzle above. He do it just by himself and his Tita said he already solved it last night, all by himself. I overheard her telling Matt to look at the colors and combine those with the same color. Matt already recognize almost all the colors so I think that helps him solve the puzzle. Though I just notice that they don't fit in the base but the puzzle parts are okay.

Look likes we will have a puzzle wizard!

The only thing that I don't like is not that well ventilated, warehouse kasi. Also when you go there on the last day, most cheap apparels are already mixed. You need to make a big effort to look at the bulk mixed items in order to find good buys. But what is really good is that they are offering FREE snacks, soft drinks, water, and lunch. So no need to go out to take a break from shopping.

Happy Shopping!

Daily Inspiration: Be Thankful

Good morning!

Here's our Daily Inspiration.

When I have learned to accept and appreciate what I have, God is giving me more. I am always thankful that even though I don't ask for, He continuously pours blessings on us. I always believe that He has a better plan so that everything happens for a reason.

Accept what you have and always be thankful.

Happy Tuesday!

Daily Inspiration: Put Your Heart to Your Work

Good morning everyone! How's your weekend? Mine was super packed as usual. And as always, I love Sundays!

Here's our Daily Inspiration.

Not all of us can get the work that we want. Lucky are those who got a high-paying job that they are enjoying too. I am a Chemist by profession. I love my work and my job right now. I have learned that salary alone is not what gives us satisfaction. It is when you enjoy and love your work that gives me the will to go to work each day. Yes, I am still hoping to be a stay at home mom and when that time comes, I will surely miss my work, my colleagues and my company. I already put my heart to it and I am sure I will have hard time taking it with me.

Happy Monday!
