Our Merry Christmas 2014

Belated Merry Christmas guys! Just got back to work after the Christmas break. Yes we have work today, December 29th.

So how's your Christmas celebration? Our's is still simple as the previous years of stay here in Bulacan. Initially, we planned to go to our hometown in Nueva Ecija so we can celebrate Christmas with our entire family there. But that didn't push through as my mother can not stand long hours of travel. Also, we have a bulk order to finish.

Oh yes, we gave in to a client's request but the deadline naman is January 15, 2014. That's why our at our spare time during the break, we do as much crochet as we can. Here are my two boys while we crochet early in the morning.

His First Christmas Party in School

Yesterday, I posted about Matthew's first educational field trip. Today naman, it's all about his first Christmas party in school.

Last Friday, December 19, Matthew's school held their 2014 Christmas party. The little boy was over excited because we told him Santa will give them gifts on that day. So I told him to write a letter to Santa on what he wants for Christmas.

His teacher told us that instead of the usual exchange gift, the parents will send gifts for their kids. They reminded us also not to tell our kids so as to surprise them. That's why when Daddy and I got a chance to go to the mall without Matthew, we bought his wish gift... Bumblebee!

Matthew Andrei's First Educational Field Trip

Last Monday, Matthew had his first educational field trip in Laguna. It's very fortunate that his fever has subsided. He had a high fever since Saturday afternoon and he just laid down the whole Sunday.

It's so painful to see him like that. Our little boy is always hyper kasi. That's why I will never used to see him sick and weak. Thankfully, before evening he's feeling better and his fever subsided.

Today I'll Be More Kind and Patient

The Lord God is showing me so much that I should be thankful for. He's telling me I should not worry about what will happen in the future for He is in control.

The truth is I often lose my faith in Him. I sometimes don't trust His plans. I worry a lot thus I feel so stress, impatient and unkind.

That's why it's a big slap on my face when I realize one day that God will never forsake us. That made me wake up from a bad dream. A bad dream that only me created. So allow me to tell you something that might also help you realize the greatness of God.

Monday Inspiration: Keep Safe Philippines

Another super typhoon is currently battering our country. Although typhoon Ruby's (Hagupit,  its international name) strength has weaken as she made her landfall, it was reported that she claimed two lives already. Now, she's heading to Luzon and will pass through Metro Manila at approximately 8 in the evening today.

With this let us pray that she will not claim any life and may God keep our kababayans safe and warm. May typhoon Ruby exit our country the soonest.

The Filipino SPIRIT is STRONGER than any Typhoon. #StrongerPH #RedCrossPH

Flashback Friday: The Little Sweeper

Our son is a very helpful boy to the point that he will get very disappointed when he's not able to help us. I am happy that I can easily ask him to help me or to hand me something. Though there are times I already feel irritated because he won't let us do things without him helping.

What chore he loves to do? Look...

On Christmas Exchange Gift

Since it's already December, expect that there will be a lot of parties and gatherings. One of which is Christmas party, and this year we will have our traditional exchange gift. Last year, we didn't have an exchange gift instead we donate the money to Yolanda victims.

So last Sunday, after hearing a mass, Daddy, Matthew and I went to the mall to look for possible gifts we can write on our wishlist. Wishlist is helpful so as to give us a clue on what we can give to our monito or monita. But before I go on, here's our family selfie :)

Hello December!

Yes, hello December!

Welcome to the most favorite month of the year.

Hello to traffic jam and shopping rush too, lol. But it's okay because December is still love. Because who doesn't love the cool December breeze that makes us so lazy to get up from our soft bed every morning? And what about the shining Christmas lights and the beautiful Christmas decorations everywhere, most especially at our home?

Of course aside from Christmas lights and decorations, we are also excited about gift giving. Our son just got his early Christmas gift from us for behaving well in school.

Join us at the BC Bloggers Community

Two years ago, I made a post about BC Bloggers. As a newbie in the blogging world then, I was in search of a community or a group that will help me develop my writing and communication skills. But the BC Bloggers community has given more than what I wanted.

Inspiration

I get so much inspiration from my fellow BC Bloggers. Reading through their shared stories, I get ideas and more knowledge both in writing and personal life. I am more inspired to write because I know BC Bloggers will read my posts.

Comfort and Personal Connection

I have joined many online groups but it's only at BC Bloggers that I found the comfort and personal connection. BC Bloggers is not just a community for building blog stats, it's a family.

Back to A Week's Update

Sorry guys.

Seems like I cannot sustain the daily posts I did last week. This week was a super busy week for me. From Monday to Wednesday we had workshops and meeting. It was indeed a very stressful week for me.

So let me just share the highlight of my super busy week, which is not over yet.

Just like what I said, I started the week with a workshop. It was job related and we talked about laboratory improvement. It was a 2-day workshop, which gave us a lot of information on good laboratory practices. Those new information gave me inspiration to work more for our laboratory's improvement.

Olive Oil as a Natural Remedy for Earaches

ear pain, earache, natural home remedies, natural home remedy for ear ache, olive oil,

Recently our son was complaining of earache. Before that, we saw an earwax build up inside his right ear. Then Daddy put some drops of baby oil to soften the wax. Few days after that, I frequently saw our son picking his ear.

Of course, I was alarmed. He looks fine though and there's no lumps around his ear but he doesn't want his ear to be touched. When I got a chance to inspect his ear, I saw something white that's building inside that ear. Also, his body temperature was increasing so I give him a dose of ibuprofen. The temperature subsided but the pain doesn't go away.

I made a quick research about earache, its causes and what are the natural remedies. Surely, earache can be painful, and the pain maybe constant, or it may come and go. The pain can be feel like a burning sensation or a sharp, dull one.

Anyone can suffer from earache but it's more common in children. Earache is mostly due to the fluid build up in the middle ear. Other causes are loud sounds, common cold, ear infection, ear wax, nasal passage blockage, damage inside the ear, and increase in air pressure. Learning all about this, I know what discomfort our son was feeling then. Also, ear infection may cause hearing loss that may require the use of hearing aid in the long run.

Immediately, I do a research about natural home remedies and read about olive as a natural remedy for earaches. I found out that olive oil has an anti-inflammatory effect. Thus, it can provide fast relief from an earache. It serves as lubricant and helps get rid of ear infection too.

Here's how to use olive oil as a natural remedy for earaches:

1. Put 3-4 drops of lukewarm olive oil into the ear canal.
2. Or dip a cotton bud in the olive oil and put it firmly inside the ear.

So we waist no time and bought a bottle of olive oil (even if it's included in our weekly budget). What we did is Daddy put 3 drops of olive oil in a spoon then he used a candle to heat the spoon until the oil is lukewarm. Heating just quick and make sure the oil is not too warm. Then we used a medicine dropper to put 3 drops of that lukewarm olive oil into our son's affected ear.

The next day,  our son had an instant relief from earache. I also tried putting a cotton ball moist with olive oil into an aching pimple on my outer ear and just overnight, the swelling disappear. Great relief right?

This is why olive oil, just like apple cider vinegar, will now be included in our to buy list. Aside from it is a natural remedy to earache, olive oil has other amazing health and beauty benefits too. That will be our topic next week so watch out for it.

Have a blessed weekend everyone!

Ways to Teach Our Kids to Save Money

One of the changes I want to make on this blog is to have a regular post about topics I love to talk about. If you notice since Monday, I have a consistent daily post. This is because I am already following a specific subject each day to write about. I hope I can cope up with this change . So for today, I choose to write about ways to teach our kids to save money.

expenses, finance, financial tips, how to teach kids to save money, BDO Junior Savers account, money, saving money, savings,

Start Early

The little boy on the photo is Matthew Andrei (and I bet you know him a lot, haha!) with his coin banks. This early, we are teaching him  to collect and save coins. We bought a Mickey Mouse Coin bank for him to put inside the coins. However, we want to make more organize and easier to count so we decided to separate collect and save the coins.

That's why you can see 4 other containers in the photo. We collect 5, 10 and 25 cents, 1 peso, and 5 and 10-peso coins. As of this moment, most are half filled. We are planning to deposit it on his own BDO Junior Savers account once all are full.

Open a Savings Account

Yes, Matthew already has a savings account. We opened one for him before he turned two, and all the money he gets go to his savings. We also allot a portion of our monthly salary to go to his savings account. Having his own savings account will be his security in case (but I hope God does not permits) anything not good happens us. Also, since we are saving for him since 2012, we used a portion of it to pay for his tuition fee. But as much as possible, we don't want to withdraw money from his account for just like what I have already said, this is his security fund. Here's how to open a BDO Junior Savers account

Encourage them to save money by giving rewards

Giving rewards is a very good motivation. This is proven, especially with my son. When he get big or super stars for a good behavior, he will immediately have a reward in terms of pasalubong when we got home. You may match his savings so he will to encourage our kids to save money more.

Teach the value of saving

It's not enough to teach them how to save. Teach them the value and importance of saving money. My son will sometimes think we can buy him anything he wants. Earlier, he will have tantrums whenever he can't get what he wants from a store. But I always tell him it's not good to get whatever you want just like that. That he needs to wait to buy something he wants. He may not get my point right away and because he's just a little boy who badly want that something inside the store, but in time he got my point. So the next time we go to a store and he sees something he wants, I will just give him a gentle reminder that buying that is not our purpose or we will buy it some other time. Or better yet, he can save for it and he will agree.

With this, he will not just learn the value of savings but he will surely give importance to the things he buy from his savings.

Teach them how to share

Matthew sometimes refuse to give or share. That is especially when he's so jealous. But with a good talk, I can persuade him to share. That's a good sign.

Also, if he can save to buy what he wants, he can also save to share. This will be one of the values I want him to learn - to share.

Be a good example

You may not notice but our kids adore us. They are looking on anything we do, and they are listening to what we are saying, even if we thought they are not. So if you want them to do something, set a good example by saving money too.

Since Matthew is seeing us collecting coins, he got this hobby too. That's why when he saw coins around, he will get it and ask me if he can put it inside his coin banks. Even the coins inside my coin purse, haha!

One time when he saw my pink coin purse, he opened it. Then I saw a big smile on his face.

Matthew: Mommy, ilalalagay ko po ito sa alkansya ko ha. (I'll put these inside my coin bank.)

What can I say but okay son.

Those are just few ways to teach our kids to save money. You may have your own effective ways but make sure you will not just emphasize money. Always emphasize the value of savings, not just money but anything he can save like electricity, water, and food.

If you have something to add up, please feel free to comment down.

Weekend is here, so I wish you a great one with your family.

Throwback Thursday: Before and After

Time flies so fast. Our little boy is a baby no more.

Last Sunday, Daddy showed to Matthew his baby pictures. I don't know why, but Matthew was laughing at all his baby pictures. He even tried to imitate this one.

He changed a lot noh? Though the two dimples are still there. As he grow up, his choices and likes change too. If he loves McQueen and cars before, now guess who he likes the most. It's Iron Man and the Avengers!

I have to warn you guys this post is a little too emotional.

It has been years since I am looking ways to be a work at home mom. It even came to a point when I hated my job already. I got so bored with my everyday work routine that I wish I can just get a job where I can work at home. Yes, all I was thinking then is how can I work from home.

Momaye's Diary Turns 3

I actually create this blog in 2010. My very first post was about the banner I made. Then the next post I made was in October 2011 and it's about Matthew Andrei, our precious little one

Since the first post I made was not really a post, I'll consider the post I made after a year the start of my blogging journey. So this month, Momaye's Diary turns 3.

His First Singing Contest Performance

Matthew was chosen to represent their school to the APRISM Singing Contest (Pre-Elementary Level). The contest was held last October 9. So this is a super late post, hehe. But it's better late than never right? So let me share how that day went.

Since it's a regular work day, Daddy and I took a leave from work to witness Matthew Andrei's very best school competition. We went to the venue earlier so we can relax first. Yes, mas tensionado kami kaysa sa bulilit (we were more nervous than the little one). We were in full force to support our Matthew Andrei.

Our nervousness doubled when we entered the venue.

We picked up his number, which is 7, and he seated in front along with the other contestants. I was so nervous that I forgot to take photos of the other contestants.

I was relaxed a little when the contest starts, and the little kids sang one by one. I actually thought Matthew will compete with amateur singing contestants, but I was wrong. Since it was Pre-Elem level, most of the contestants are small kids who can sing to a right tune but not necessarily can sing like Charice P. or Sarah G. Some are bulol pa so that made us feel a little comfortable (but still nervous!).

Anyway, when Matthew was called to go up stage, my heart was pounding so hard and loud that I can actually hear it, hehe. I fear that he will refuse to sing but when the song (Kung Hindi Ikaw) played, he sang...

If you notice in the first part, he sang ahead of the tune. Maybe he was nervous too because his voice was low and he just stand still. His behavior was the opposite when we were just practicing. He did good in the last part though and please don't mind the stage mother's voice on the back ground. Haha!

Surprisingly, he behaved well all throughout the contest. Before the announcement of winners, each was given a certificate of participation. And look at our little boy, he's back in his usual happy self. I wonder if he's nervous too during the competition, hehe.

He's so proud of his certificate. But he noticed it has no name so he asked his teacher why, haha.

His teacher said, they will write his name in school na lang.

Even though he didn't get any place, the fact that he carried his self well in front of many people is more than enough to make us proud. For a 4-year old to memorized an entire song and to sing in a right tune is already an achievement. So this is a call for a celebration right?

And a bonus picture with KathNiel.

Next year, he will join the contest again (as per his teachers). With that, we need start to practice him and I told Daddy we must buy him a microphone or a Magic Sing. We'll see...

The truth is we never expect him to have such talent. No one is a singer in the family. Also, joining such competition ise really stressful and requires time and resources. But if this will be the path he will choose in the future then we will support him all the way. Provided that his studies will not be compromised.

So that's it. Next time, I will share his dancing video naman during their school foundation day. I know this is just the beginning. Way to go for our little boy :)

Are you also a busy mom/dad attending your kids activities?

Cord Blood, A New Hope for Leukemia

Hello there everyone!

Hay so many things to do, so little time. I bet you always hear that! And that's always my everyday dilemma. We always start the day early, wake up early. Prepare for work and be away from home for like 12 hours a day.

I know I always say how hard it is being a working mom. And believe it, for 4 years I never get used to it. Haha! At first I thought, when Matthew grows up, I will have more time. But definitely I am wrong because Matthew now is a school boy. And of course I need to guide and teach him. So if I am Chemist at day time, I am a Mommy teacher at night naman

Teaching Matt will require me at least an hour every night. It also requires more patience as Matt always like to ask things. I am just glad he never complains when I tell him it's study time already. I never regret giving him my time because it always pay off. He gets high scores and high grades, and aside from that I can see he can easily understands his lessons. Speaking of lessons, I can't remember we already take those when I was in Kinder. He's just 4 now and I was 6 then, and he's already studying equal or not equal, greater than or less than, and so on.

So sorry for a long intro and it has nothing to do with what I want to share with you right now. Maybe you already heard about Cordlife? Let me share an article about how an umbilical cord blood stem cells can possibly cure Leukemia.

A Week's Update

Divine Mercy Church, Marilao Bulacan
Finally! I get a chance to make a post. Cliche it may be, I had a busy week. Let me just give you some updates through photo.

Sunday is always our Church day. We do our best to go to Church to thank God for all the blessings, and even trials that come our way. For I know, He will never give us something we cannot bear.

Aside from our work, crocheting keeps us busy. Again, my never ever thanks to God for giving us this skill and patience so we can have another source of income and to save too. Here are what we have done for the week.

Photostory: Matthew and the Piggy Pao

Our little boy loves to receive pasalubong. Pasalubong serves his reward for a job well done in school.  If he gets big star for very good and superstar for outstanding, he will sure have a surprise from us every time we go home from work. This is his motivation to do good and behave well in school.

One time, his yaya told us that when Matthew got two big stars, he was so excited to show these to her. Just after he stepped out of his classroom and saw her, he screamed "Ate Jenny meron ako two big stars!!!".  I can imagine how happy and excited he was, with jumping pa.

The one afternoon, his yaya told Daddy he got a superstar which means outstanding. Of course, Daddy is happy to know it so he bought asado Piggy Pao from Chowking.

Matthew the Singer

Rainy morning everyone! Another typhoon is visiting our country today. It's raining so hard here since last night and one of the river going to our work is almost overflowing. The government had already announced that there's no work for all government employees including here in Bulacan. But since we are working in a private company, it's under the discretion of the company. That's why we are here reporting for work for there's no announcement yet. Let's us pray that the heavy rain will stop soon because there are many places  already in flood.

Anyway, on the brighter side, I would like to share a good news to you. Remember the video of Matthew singing Kung Hindi Ikaw? There's no doubt, our little boy loves to sing. Because of that his teacher is urging him to join an inter-school singing contest.

The other night, when Daddy was paying his PE uniform, a teacher said Matthew's teacher has something to tell us. Daddy was nervous thinking Matthew had done wrong. Then he announced that they want Matthew to join an inter-school singing contest. Actually Daddy can't believe it and he's laughing when he's telling me about it.

It's About Time to Run!

We started by eating less carbohydrates, eating less rice. Just less because it's so hard to take off rice from our diet, hehe. I am considering brown rice but I am still contemplating because of it's price. But I think it's justifiable since it's a much healthier option if we can't take off rice from our diet.

Now, we will take a leap as finally we decided to take a RUN. Yes, I think it's about time to run. And we are determined to start it as soon as we buy our running shoes.

The Boy who Loves to Sing Love Songs

Yey! Weekend is here! I am feeling a lot better and I look forward to spending quality time with my family today. I know you are too, right?

By the way, have you seen my little Matthew's #TBT photo yesterday? Time flies so fast that the next thing I know I already have a binata (young man). And did you know, he loves to watch "My Destiny"?

The other night, his Dadddy went to bed first and I wanted to sleep early too. And I asked Matthew if I will turn off the television for we will about to sleep. He said no because "My Destiny" is not yet over. Since it will just be a few minutes and the series will be over, I watched with him. Then guess what? When the two lead stars (Matthew and Grace) finally met in Singapore, Matthew excitedly clapped his hands while saying "kinikilig ako".

Oh my, my little boy will be a little man soon. He already knows such thing as kilig. Aside from that, he loves singing love songs too. To which his teacher asked his yaya (nanny), if he already got broken-hearted.

Here's a proof: Matthew Andrei's own rendition of "Kung Hindi Ikaw" (originally sang by James Wright).

Sickly Thursday + Little Home Make Over

Hello! It's me, yes it's me. So sorry for not blogging too often as I used before. I know, I know I have loads of excuses but let me just update you with what had happened the past days.

Yesterday, I was supposed to write a post here but then an unfortunate event had happened. One of our staff houses got burnt. The fire had spread too quick, maybe because that house was too old already. Seven of our colleagues staying in there got affected and they don't have any thing save. All were ashes already. We are just all thankful that the fire was stopped before it spreads to the other houses and no one is injured.

That event added to my already sickly feeling. I have cough and colds and the stress I got yesterday intensified how I feel right now. So here I am sniffing, coughing and sneezing :(

Moving on with what I really want to share... On the brighter side...  Months ago, I told you that we already have purchased and new sofa set.

Source

If you work for the money you are easily get disappointed when something doesn't meet your expectations. If you don't love your job, you will not be satisfied as if something is always missing. So if  you think your job is not what you are looking for, don't stop there. Get out and look for what your heart will love.

Happy Monday and have a fruitful week ahead!

My KL Travel Experience: The Hotel

Hello! Finally have time to blog about my KL travel experience. It was a work related trip to attend the Poultry Feed Quality Conference. I was one of the chosen to attend the Poultry Feed Quality Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Actually, I have a heavy heart living for this trip since I will travel alone and I'll be away from Matt for like 4 days. Although I have colleagues also going, I wished I have Daddy A and Matt with me. Also the negative thoughts of plane crashing the past weeks kept me worrying a lot about this trip and to think I am going to Malaysia pa. Adding to my stress was that I have a different sponsor and flight schedule from the rest of my colleagues. I was hiding that fear from Daddy and at the last minute I wanted to tell him, I will not go because I worry about what will happen once I reached the airport and how will I get to the hotel and so on. I remember my Bangkok, Thailand trip, in which I have traveled alone.

But God is so good that before deplaning I met my co attendees from the same sponsor and the rest of the scenes went smoothly. Except that I was so sleepy because I chose not to sleep before the flight for fear of missing my flight at 6:40am. We left our house at 2 in the morning while Matt was still sleeping.

Just like what I have said, everything just fell into its place when I met the other attendees. They are so nice people and I easily get along with. So without further ado, let me start my KL travel experience.

Welcome to Le Meridien Hotel! Here's their beautiful reception area.

GET CLOSER! That's it!

Do you yell a lot at home? Well, sometimes I do especially if Matt is unstoppable and won't listen. It happens also when I am so stressed and exhausted. Who would want to yell all the time by the way? It's energy consuming and it's shameful that your neighbors is hearing your loud voice all the time. I really don't mind what others say or think about us but I have a growing son. It's not okay that he's getting used to loud voice, yelling, nagging and the likes.

Generally, I have a loving, caring boy. Sure he listens to us but like what I have said, there are times he's so stubborn and unstoppable. I think he's practicing his independence so I must understand that. Since I am just human who's temper is unmanageable sometimes, I cannot stop myself from yelling and nagging. Everything and everyone gets affected whenever my emotion is out of control. Peacefulness at home is temporarily gone during those times, until I manage to compose myself.

Like what I have said, my son is growing. Yelling is not a good example. Apart from that, he can understand most of the words and he knows what mad or angry is. As mush as I could, I try to hold my temper. I usually count before I warn him. I will warn him several times until finally, I explode. That's the time he will stop. It's lucky if he will really stop because sometimes, he will just wait until I cool down and he will continue with his business again. See after I consume my energy yelling, it doesn't make any good.

So what can I do other than yelling? When I read this 1 Simple Tip to Stop Yelling, I remember one thing I have done already other than yelling. Get closer! How can I ever forget it? I have done this already and it works. Because I am busy with many things, I failed to communicate with and get closer to my son. That maybe the reasons why Matt is acting that way. He needs attention.

I just need to get closer to him. When I am closer to him, I don't need to yell right? I can also see what is up to. I can tell him what he shouldn't be doing. I can listen closely to his needs. That's it! Aside from getting closer, it helps that instead of uttering unkind words, I tell him how much I love him and how good he is. He will suddenly turn into a tamed sheep. Hehe...

Now, why do I need to waste my energy and disturb the peacefulness at home? When all I need is to GET CLOSER.

I hope this helps and I also want to hear tips from you on how to stop yelling. Sharing is love right?

Enjoy your weekend!

Monday Inspiration: Do Not Get Upset

Let this be a reminder to us...

"Do not get upset with people or situations, both are powerless without your reaction." ~Unknown~

Also remember, that anything or anyone who makes us angry can control us. Don't give them a chance to have a power over us, and don't react fast. Keep calm and good vibes only!

Have a great week ahead everyone!

Our 6th Wedding + The Search for a New Stroller

Hello everyone! How's your holiday? We had a super long weekend. Unfortunately, we didn't got a chance to go far away from home because of one, fear of the heavy traffic and two, I needed to get a good rest because I already felt my whole body aching. Thank God, I feel better now.

Sunday was our 6th wedding anniversary our 11th year of relationship. Yes, we are lucky to get married on the same day of our anniversary :)

Since, we already heard about the heavy traffic at NLEX and exits. We just content ourselves on spending the entire day at home. After hearing a mass, we went to the nearest grocery to buy some stuff needed for our anniversary dinner (just at home). Luckily, the booth selling cars was open. Just imagine how excited our little car addict was. He couldn't decide what to pick and buy until he finally chose 3 small cars at 30 pesos each. They were cheap but those cars are durable and so cute. I actually regret not taking photos of these cars.

Super Long Weekend + Our Anniversary

How's your week going guys? I hope everything is just light and easy. I have been missing in action for more than a week not only because of work, but because of typhoon Glenda and the total lost of internet connection.

Since after typhoon Glenda, we lost our internet connection at work and ours at home is so slow. It was just yesterday that the internet connection here at our office was fixed. It was terrible without the internet connection at work. I was forced to load up our Smart Bro stick but it was so so so slow. I can't even attach a doc file and it was stressful receiving follow ups of reports. Anyway, it was over and hopefully we will not lose the internet connection EVER again.

By the way, last week I was talking about Eid'l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan) on July 29 and wishing that July 28 is a holiday too. Just this morning I have learned that the Bulacan government declared July 28 as provincial holiday for INC Centennial. So now, I am looking forward to a super long weekend.

Happy Monday + Eid'l Fitr 2014 Holiday

Hello everyone! How's the first day of the work week so far? I am doing just right except that I still feel tired after our balikan trip to Nueva Ecija yesterday. The weather was scorching heat but I enjoyed every second being with my two boys. We spent our Sunday almost on the road, by the way.

Anyway, I have no choice but be back to work even without enough rest. And if you are a corporate slave like me, I am so sure you are looking forward to holidays. Me, I am waiting for August because it has 2 nationwide holidays plus we have 2 provincial holidays. Hurray!

But wait, if you think there's no holiday to look forward this July, there's one. Malacañang just released the Proclamation No. 826. Declaring Tuesday, 29 July 2014, as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid'l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan).
