A Week's Update

Divine Mercy Church, Marilao Bulacan
Finally! I get a chance to make a post. Cliche it may be, I had a busy week. Let me just give you some updates through photo.

Sunday is always our Church day. We do our best to go to Church to thank God for all the blessings, and even trials that come our way. For I know, He will never give us something we cannot bear.

Aside from our work, crocheting keeps us busy. Again, my never ever thanks to God for giving us this skill and patience so we can have another source of income and to save too. Here are what we have done for the week.

Crochet doll and owl booties, and sandals with interchangeable flowers
Crochet owl hat and shell hat with interchangeable flowers
Crochet hat, ugg boots, chucks/converse and sandals

We are accepting less orders now so we'll still have enough rest, because health is wealth!

Also this week, we got Matthew's result of his second mastery quiz.

Matthew's Second Mastery Quiz results
Here are the results of Matthew's second Mastery Quiz:

Science and Mathematics - 98% ( 30/30perfect)

Filipino - 97% (24/25)
English - 96% (28/30)
GMRC - 92% (17/20)

The time I allocate each night to teach him paid off. He has a positive improvement and who would not be proud right? #motheristhefirstandbestteacher

"Mother is the best and the first teacher to the child ."

I am also happy that we can talk to him and he understand what we talk about. Because of that he knows what to do and what not to do. We have less drama at home, although at times he has still sumpong but that's normal for a four-year old boy.

By the way, it's official! He's the school contestant to APRISM singing content Kinder level here in Bulacan. We are practicing him already. Actually memorized nya na yun song and all he needs to do is sabayan yung instrumental music, which Daddy brought from the web pa

Actually, at first, I have doubts of letting him join the contest. I feel that he's so young and of all the Kinder pupils sya pa who has the tendency to be hyperactive. It's not that I don't trust him, of course I know he can do it. I have this little fear lang na he cannot stand still in front of the whole crowd.

Since andito na nga, go na go na kami. I kept on asking him if he really want to sing and he always answer be with "opo!", without thinking twice. So if he loves to sing, we will support him. Nakakastress lang syang i-train. May times na kinaklikot yung microphone, then kakamot sa mukha then magssmile. Kaloka! I never thought I can be a stage mother one day and this early pa!

So that's wrap up our week. I hope you had a fruitful week too. Happy long weekend from us!
