Let me start with how we prepare for the party. Two weeks before the party, Daddy and I went to Divisoria to buy some party needs.

So let's fast forward, here is the birthday boy who just woke up from his afternoon sleep.

And here's our simple celebration.

His guests...

His "wohohohoho" look.

The little boy had a blast with these kids who are his constant guests on his birthday.

Balloons are everywhere. Did you know that at Divisoria, you can but those character balloons at 120 pesos for 12 pieces including the sticks? Yes, it's only 10 pesos each. While the rubber balloons with print is 85 pesos for 25 pieces and the stick is 1 peso each.

These are the cupcakes Daddy Allan baked. He needs more practice pa but they are yummy naman.

Then, the blowing of candle. And he wished for another birthday =)

More photo opps after the first batch of visitors left.

It was a long tiring day but all is worth because the little boy was so happy that he's asking if it's still his birthday the next day. Haha! I think he liked his McQueen Car mini party so much!

That's all guys! See you again next week. Enjoy your weekend!

I just came from a meeting this morning. I received a good news and I must say all our hard works has been paid. Well, I haven't receive the blessing on my hands but knowing the company is continuously trusting me and Daddy Allan is more than enough to work harder.

You know I have been so dedicated with my work since I realized I am here to stay (for atleast 4 years from now, haha). Seriously, I feel so blessed and no negativity can break the very good vibes I have.

Anyway, I also have something to share. We already bought a new sofa set!

Happy 4th Birthday Matthew Andrei!

Monday, June 16, 2014

June 16 will always be a special day for us. As God gave us one of the greatest blessings in our life, Matthew Andrei who turns 4 today. And it's not just his birthday because today another milestone in his life will happen.

Today is his first day in school and it's official! Our dear little Matthew Andrei is a school boy! Oh how time flies! He can do most of the chores on his own and it makes me smile and feel sad at the same time. I'm happy to see him growing independently, smart, active and healthy. But it also makes me feel sad that sooner, he will have his own world outside our home. I just always pray that he will remember all the lessons we are teaching him and also he can learn on his own. Because I can never be happier seeing him to be a successful, respectful good man.

Oh, I know it's just his 4th birthday so I still have years with him before he can live on his own independently. So please help me greet this smart, happy boy!

Happy Father's Day Daddy A!

Sunday, June 15, 2014

As I always say, I am so lucky to marry my best friend. He may not be a romantic type of guy. He may have some flaws that can make me feel  irritated at times. He may not always show how much he cares for me and Matt. But if I will be given another chance to marry a man again, I will still choose you. That's because, no one can ever fill the other half of my heart as perfectly as you do.

Gloomy Friday + My Bento Tools

Friday, June 13, 2014

Oh, it's Friday the 13th and it's pay day. It's so cloudy here and there are frequent rain showers. I love the weather now, it's cooler. Although, I can't help but fear that flood comes after the rain. Let's just all pray that may God spare our country from another disaster.

Anyway, you might notice that I have fewer posts. My mind is pre-occupied with my work, with Matt's schooling and his birthday preparation. Matt will be in school on Monday, June 16th and it's also his birthday. Daddy talked to the school personnel and they said it will just be an hour orientation. So with that, we decided not to celebrate his birthday at school. I am so sure everyone will be busy on that day e. We will have a simple celebration at home and we will just invite his new classmates na lang.

Also, finally I was able to buy my Bento tool from Bento Mommas. Here they are fresh from the pouch.

Saturday Musings + An Update

Saturday, June 7, 2014

Finally, after a week of not posting! Please excuse me as I am so busy with my work, business and family. I feel like a day is not enough to do everything with just my two hands. Nevertheless, I overcome the week of busyness.

So let me just give you a little update of the week that was. Last weekend, we finally had our company outing at Laguna. Our company rented a private hot spring resort for our division. Of course we tagged Matthew along who was so excited to swim on the pool. Here are some of the few photos we had taken during the outing.

It's not too obvious that he enjoyed the kiddie pool so much. Look!

And he kept on jumping that almost gave me a heart attack, hehe!

Then, we had a chance to have a photo together.

And with his Dad too.

The pool has a color changing effect at night. So cool no, though the water is hot hehe...

Here's a photo a grabbed from Bethel Hot Spring Resort FB page.

photo source: Bethel Hot Spring Resort
The place is beautiful and clean. We had a comfortable stay in a solo room. Unfortunately, this is the only photo I had taken inside our room.

Matt had so much fun and if only we can afford to book the entire place for our family, then we will be happy to go back there.

On the other side, we are preparing for Matt's first day of school. The school opening is supposedly on June 9th but it was moved on the 16th. Guess what, it's Matt's 4th birthday! So now we are preparing for Matt's first day for this school year and his 4th birthday. Because of that, I already feel the pressure.

I asked Daddy if we will still have a feeding on school. We are having second thought since it's the first day of school so we will see. We also need to know how many students there are in Matt's class. Ay good luck to us, hehe!

Anyway, lately I have been thinking of closing this blog and just concentrate on our Family Blog. But then, I had invested so much in this blog that I feed it's still worth to keep. Maybe I just need to have a revamp and have a new direction. I just wish I can afford the service of a blog coach. How I wish! Hehe...

So that's the latest about me and my family. Have a great weekend everyone!
