I have using Human Nature feminine wash for years now and this Powder Cool Feminine Wash is the best. What I love about this product is it's cooling effect down there every time I use it. What's even good is that because it's from Human Nature, you can assure that it is safe and gentle to our intimate area. It contains no harmful chemicals but only natural ingredients like aloe vera, coconut and naturally cooling ingredients.

I got these two as half of its price, around Php 50.00 for 40ml bottle. So I got two of each of these for me and Daddy A.

Then lastly, the transaction is almost smooth na sana but they sent me a wrong shade of Kiss It Berry Tint Lip Balm.

5 Tips for Proper Hair Care

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.

For us women, our hair is our crowning glory. That I don't know for men but for my husband I can say he values his hair too as having less hair makes a man look older. Anyway ladies, let me share some tips for proper hair care.

1. Do not overwash hair.

Hair need not to be washed everyday. This is a mistake most women does and I am one of those. The hair's natural oils are there to condition and protect our tresses. With daily shampooing, these vital oils will be stripped away. Shampooing and conditioning every other day is enough unless you have extra oily hair. If you do, you need to apply conditioner on the ends because regular washing causes hair dryness.

2. Apply shampoo and conditioner properly

When applying shampoo, always start with a rinse to make the hair thoroughly wet. Apply shampoo on the hair at the scalp, then lather from roots to tips. This is because the hair closest to the scalp is the youngest and certainly the oiliest. While the hair tip is the oldest and generally the driest making it the most fragile part of the hair.

Massage the scalp gently and do not scrub the fragile ends. Then rinse the shampoo thoroughly and do not repeat shampooing unless your hair is really dirty.

After rinsing, towel dry your hair first to remove excess water before applying conditioner. Excess water must be removed for conditioner to penetrate the hair shaft and provide the necessary moisture to make the hair healthy and shiny. Apply conditioner from the mid-lengths to the tips. Avoid putting conditioner at the roots of the hair because the natural oil from the scalp is more concentrated there. Putting conditioner can cause the scalp to get greasy easily. Leave the conditioner on the hair. The longer the conditioner stays on the hair, the better it absorbs. Wash and rinse hair thoroughly.

3. Brush hair twice a day

Hair should be brush twice a day to make it perfectly shiny, healthy and untangled. It can be once in the morning and once before bedtime, for at least a minute each time. Don't over brush your hair because twice is just enough to make hair looking shiny and healthy. Also, do not brush wet hair. Soaking wet hair is usually weaker, fragile and more prone to breakage,

4. Avoid hot showers

Blowing up the scalp with very hot water will dry out the hair and will create tangles that may result to breakage.

5. Keep hair away from heat

As much as possible, try to keep your hair away from heat. Using heat-styling tools daily like flat or curling irons and even blow drying can damage the hair shaft. If you can't avoid it, try not to over heat your hair like by excessive hot blowing and use a colder setting.

Just in case you have a date or important event to attend and want a gorgeous curls or perfect waves, why not use lace front wigs instead? Take a look at these diva looking wigs at Divatress.

You want curls, then this Vivica A. Fox lace front wig is for you.

Aside from those, it is important that you know what is your hair type to be able to choose the shampoo and conditioner that will best suits your hair needs. Also, make it a habit to real the labels and contents of the shampoo, conditioner and other hair treatments that you are buying. There are harsh chemicals that will do more harm that good on your hair. Go for naturals or homemade hair treatments.

So that's some tips for proper hair care. If you have other proper hair tips please share and would love to know it.

Our Lenten Week 2017

Hello dearies! How's your week so far?

Days passed by so fast no? I have been waiting for that very long  break from work, the Lenten week, and it passed just like that. But I must say, this Lenten week was by far the most relaxed break I ever had since I had my work.

This is because we got a chance to rest and spend quiet time with our family. Especially with this little boy who's staying with his lolo and lola in Nueva Ecija.

Look he missed me so much!

Our Lenten week was spent simply with the family just like what I have said. Daddy and I cooked for the family.

Simple food but it get special when family eats together.

On Good Friday, we tried to join the station of the cross. But since Matthew got sick the night before he said nahihilo daw sya so we just followed the track and went around CLSU instead. First stop is at Little Baguio.

Next stop was at Rizal Park.

And to this very familiar Church where I had my baptism, first communion and our wedding. The three of us prayed in silence.

There are so much memories here at CLSU, the place where I grew up. I will have a separate posts on this and will show you  more photos of my Alma Matter.

We also visited my Nanay, Uncle and Daddy's grandfather.

Then come Black Saturday, we planned for a family swimming but this little boy was still sick so just stayed at my in laws house.

When he felt better we went to Daddy A's Tita's house to celebrate his Uncle's birthday. Naku, Matthew saw the videoke and even he's sick, it didn't stop him from singing.

He had duet with his Ate Gwen too.

It's actually his first time to sing in a videoke pero hindi naman halata. He was very happy when he got 90 so ayan, he sang another one song pa.

Then on Easter Sunday, we went to the market to buy these fresh vegetables.

The hardest part of this vacation was when Daddy A and I needed to go back to Bulacan. We left Matthew again but we'll be back before our birthday. Hopefully, we can get him back to Bulacan. Oh by the way, we brought home this crystal jade pampaswerte from Daddy A's Tita.

As I said, this break from work recharged us physically and spiritually. We didn't went to different Churches but we spent quiet time reflecting and repenting. And I think that's the Lent is all about.

We are ready for more work right Daddy A? Haha!

How's your Lenten week?

Growing Generations Provides Various Treatments to Infertility Problems

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.

Being a mother for the first time, I must say my son is one of the biggest blessings I ever had. He completes the family, me and his dad dream of. He brings so much joy and happiness to us.

After 7 years, we are planning to have another bundle of joy. I want a twin actually but whatever God will give us as long as the baby will be healthy, that would be okay. Surely another baby will double our happiness

But for a working mom like me, conceiving can be challenging. This is because work stress can cause infertility problem. Infertility is a condition that affects approximately 1 out of 6 couples and its diagnosis maybe given to a couple that has been unsuccessful in trying to conceive in a year time. In female, infertility’s most common causes include ovulation problem, damage in fallopian tubes or uterus, or cervix problem. Age also may contribute to infertility because infertility decreases naturally as woman ages.

Infertility caused by problems in ovulation maybe due to hormonal imbalance, a tumor or cyst, eating disorders like anorexia or bulimia, alcohol or drug abuse, thyroid gland problems, obesity and stress. As I have mentioned, for a working mom like me, stress is maybe my number problem when trying to conceive again. But we shouldn’t worry because whatever it is that causing woman’s infertility, we have Growing Generations that provides various treatment options

Various treatment options include:

Fertility Drugs is often use as the first option for women with infertility problems. Fertility drugs work by triggering their body to release reproductive hormones that control ovulation process.

Artificial Insemination, a process wherein the sperm is directly deposited to the uterus with the use of thin catheter thru a process called intrauterine insemination (IUI). Artificial Insemination is an option for couple who can have direct contact due to disability or for same sex couples.

Egg Donation thru in vitro fertilization (IVF). In vitro fertilization is a process of extracting egg from the donor and have it fertilized in the laboratory with the partner's sperm before being implanted in the uterus.
Growing Generations, Egg-Donation Room, Egg-Donation

Surgery is an option in cases when infertility problems is caused by blocked fallopian tubes, to remove cyst, or for other reproductive abnormalities, which may increase the chance of conceiving naturally.

Surrogacy is suitable for couples who are not capable of safely carrying a full term pregnancy and is also for same sex couples. Surrogacy happens when another woman carries and gives birth to a couple's baby. The process may be in vitro fertilization of the parents embryo or artificial insemination using father's sperm or from a donor.

Growing Generations, Surrogacy Room, Surrocay

Intrafallopian Transfers is being used when the man has a low sperm count and the woman's fallopian tubes are not blocked or damaged. This is also an option if IVF failed or when objected due to religious belief. Intrafallopian Transfers has two main types: Gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT), where the egg and sperm are placed in fallopian tubes for its natural ferilization; and Zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT), where the multiple eggs are collected from the ovaries then combined with sperm to fertilized in the laboratory and the zygotes (fertilized eggs) are inserted in the fallopian tubes.

Palm Sunday + Weekend Good Finds

Last Sunday was Palm Sunday. It's official started the Lenten Week. Daddy and I went to Church for the first time without our little boy because he still in Nueva Ecija. Though he said during our phone conversation that they will also go to Church and they already have palaspas.

Palm Sunday, 2017

It was super hot. Especially that it's Palm Sunday and ang dami talagang tao. Anyway, after hearing the mas we went to the nearest mall to buy a car for Matthew's Spin Go (Read: Matthew Andrei's Recognition Day 2017). May kwento tungkol sa Spin Go na yan mamaya.

Since it's almost lunch time na, we had our lunch muna at KFC. We ordered this KFC Duo Box 3-pc Combo for Php299.00 only.

KFC, Duo Box 3-pc Combo, fastfood, meal for two

Then after that busog much lunch, we went to do our errands. First thing that I bough pala is this Kojiesan Kids Sunblock SPF30 at Php150.00 only.

Kojiesan, Kids Sunblock SPF30

Of course, it's not only the price that I considered. I always read the label and content for our safety.

Kojiesan, Kids Sunblock SPF30

While still at the department store, we passed by at kids' clothes section and saw nice white shirts. We picked two shirts for our little boy and saw a pair of shorts on sale. So lucky!

These white statement Justees shirts for kids is only Php149.75 each.

Justees, kids' clothes, kids shirt, tshirt

And this pair of Justees shorts is sale at Php250.00 only.

Justees, kids's shorts

When we're done at the department store, nag-aya naman si Daddy A sa Bench to buy a pair of pants. Initially, sya lang dapat bibili pero napabili na din ako kasi the pants are on sale at Php499.00 each.

I saw this Bench Daily Spell Magic Powder. Bought it Php19.50 only.

Bench, Daily Spell, Magic Powder, face powder

We also bought home stuff that we really planned to buy. Like this stainless dish rack that we bought at Ace Hardware.

Ace Hardware, stainless dish rack

For me it's a little expensive at Php1974.75. But it's a good investment because it's made of pure stainless not just coated so it will not rust.

Ace Hardware, stainless dish rack

By the way, few weeks ago, we bought an aluminum container at Daiso for Php88.00 only. Daddy drilled it on the wall like this.

aluminum container

This bathroom rack is made of aluminum too. It's around Php360 compared to same style na stainless na nasa 1000 pesos na.

aluminum, bathroom racks

It does not rust too so it's a good buy. Also this soap dish is made of aluminum too and it only cost Php189.75. We bought two pieces.

aluminum, soap dish

Finally, muntik pang makalimutan. We bought two cars for Matthew's Spin Go at Php 119.75 each.

Spin Go, cars

So heto na kwento. We thought the car that comes with the Spin Go is defective. We went to Toy Kingdom to tell the promodiser. Ayaw kasi nya umikot sa loop and kakaslide muntik nang napudpod mga gulong. Nagdemo ulit si promodiser, isang slide lang the car went up the loop. Kaloka isang slide lang pala e. But still we bought two cars para sure. Mahirap ng mapahiya ulit kay Matthew. Haha. Here's Daddy A's  Spin Go: A Mini Stunt Car Unboxing.

That's for now. Let's repent and reflect. Have a Blessed Holy Week everyone.
