5 Easy Steps to Renew PRC License Online

After celebrating my 36th birthday and after 5 years of not renewing our PRC License, Daddy and I decided to renew it again. I needed a valid PRC License kasi to comply with the Chemistry Law.

Anyway, good news is Filipino professionals can now renew their license online via PRC's Professional Regulation Commission) LERIS (Licensure Examination & Registration Information System) V2 website. Here are the 5 easy steps to Renew PRC License Online

1. Log on the PRC Online LERIS V2.

PRC License Online, PRC License ID, Filipino Professionals. LERIS V2 website

Click REGISTER to sign up an account if you are a new user. For new user you need an e-mail address (for Account Activation), your mobile number, personal data (including year graduated) and ID photo. Please note that the ID photo you will update must meet the following requirements to avoid delay or disapproval:
  • The photo must be 2x2 in size in plain white background.
  • The photos must be taken no more than 6 months prior to uploading.
  • The applicant must wear decent attire with collar.

For old users, click SING IN and enter your email address and password to log in.

Note that for new account, you will receive a PRC generated email. Just click Activate Account to verify your account.

2. Create your profile.

Fill up this form accurately and double check all the information provided. You will not be allowed to change your name after saving.

After saving your personal information, upload your picture via your computer or phone directory.

3. Schedule the Pick Up.

Click SELECT TRANSACTION then select RENEWAL.

Select your Profession and enter your 7-digit PRC License Number, then click the PROCEED button.

You will then ask to select the PRC office where you want your transaction to be processed. Then choose an appointment date (only from colored boxes). After that choose your preferred payment option. (If you choose any of these payment options, there will be a service fee of 50 pesos)

4. Pay Renewal Fee

Payment options are as follows: Over the Counter/ATM Banking, Online Banking, Mobile Payment and Over the Counter Non-Bank. For each payment option, there's a Payment Instruction Page. Read this carefully to avoid any delay on your transaction. By the way, I chose online banking via Dragon Pay and it was a bliss.

After payment, you need to verify status at EXISTING TRANSACTION Tab and select PRINT CLAIM STUB button. This is the claiming stub that you will show to pick up your ID in your scheduled date.

When you are done, don't forget to click the LOGOUT button.

5. Pick up your PRC License ID.

Proceed to the PRC Office you selected in the appointment page with your claiming stub. Present your claiming stub at the counter, sit down and wait for you to call.

We chose Robinsons Galleria and in less than 30 minutes we got our new PRC License ID. We were saved from the long and tedious renewal process before.

Let's Join Kris Aquino and Fucidin® in the Fight Against Wound Infection

I am a paranoid mom when it comes to wounds. When I see pantal palang on my son's skin, naloloka na ko. But you know accidents happen and no matter how careful we are, we can't stop it from happening. So imagine how I reacted when my son had his burnt accident 5 years ago.

My son had a second degree burn on his right face and chest because of hot water! That was my worst day ever that I don't want to look back na. But when you see my son now it's as if he had not experience such accident. The wounds were healed without any scars. How it happened?

Fight wound infection. Scarring happens kasi once the wounds got infected. Just like Kris Aquino, let's fight wound infection with  Fucidin®.

At the recent Fucidin Mom’s Unite Against wound infection, Kris Aquino, the Queen of All media, share how she cares for her sons’ health and well being. She said, “I have two boys and when they get a cut or a wound, I clean it with soap and water for 15 seconds. Then, I apply Fucidin® agad. Fucidin® is part of our wound care kit!”

Kris Aquino, Fucidin®, wound infection

Just like my super active little boy, children are exposed to different types of wounds and scrapes because of their daily activities. Even in the most harmless-looking places, no matter how hard parents try to protect them, they can still get hurt.

We need to make sure the wound doesn’t get infected. Infection occurs when bacteria enters the wound through a break on one’s skin. Bacteria may spread and lead to more serious diseases. Usually, our immediate response is to wash a wound well with soap and water. But cleaning may not be enough. It is also essential to apply a topical antibiotic like Fucidin® at the first sign of wound infection.

Fusidic acid/sodium fusidate Fucidin® is a powerful antibiotic that is clinically proven against wound infection. It is fast-acting, working on the infection 2 minutes upon application and deep-penetrating, reaching the skin’s deepest layer 30 minutes after application. It also helps prevent bacteria from spreading.

Fucidin® has two variants. Fucidin® cream is ideal for exposed parts of the body like the face and hands, while Fucidin® ointment is ideal for dry, scaly or cracked lesions.

Mommies, let's join the fight against wound infection!  Like Kris, stock up on Fucidin® and don’t take chances. Fucidin® is available in leading drugstores nationwide.

A Mother's Love is More Than Enough

I was browsing my Facebook feeds last night when I saw this very touching video:

FERN-C kidz released this Mother’s Day video as a tribute to moms. This Mother's Day video made me feel as if I am one of them sharing my own experiences and struggles as a mother#KalidadNaAlaga

Being a working mom for 7 years now, I can say that the struggle and mommy guilt are so real. I have to balance my time for my work and my family. Especially now that I have a grade-schooler, my job is more challenging. I can relate with one of the mom who said she has an independent daughter who can do school work on  her own.

My son is very independent and wants to do things on his own except when making assignments and reviewing his lessons. I remember one time I told him to do his assignments and read his lessons for the next day because I will go home late. When I got home he didn't do what I told him to do. I asked him why, he said "Kasi po Mommy wala pa kayo. Paano macheck assignment ko." Right there and then, he pulled his big bag and one by one he took out his books and notebooks. Without any words, he did his assignments and again told me, "Sige Mommy kaya ko na po ito, pacheck ko na lang mamaya."

Naguilty ako. My presence matters to him a lot pala. But you know what I am so guilty of? It's that I can't give him my whole time every time he needs me. I am working eh and it's all for him naman. I know he understands that pretty well. He will often ask me how's my work and he will tell me "I want to be a Chemist like you and Dad."

I know my son loves me because he often tells me that. He is very vocal and appreciative. He will tell me out of the blue phrases like, "Mommy ang ganda mo." That will make me smile, a big smile that is. But you know, it's not always love that he feels towards me.

One time while I was ironing our clothes, he told me "Mommy, hindi para syo yun cookies. Hindi ka good mom." He's referring to a cookie commercial he just watched. I was stunned and I asked him to repeat what he just said. I asked him why he thinks I am not a good mom. Sabi nya kasi daw nasasaktan ko sya physically at times when I really lost my temper.

I cried my heart out while he was so quiet. I talked to him and explained to him that what I did was just to discipline him whenever he's out of control. And that hurting him was the last thing I want to do. He then hugged me tight and told me while crying, "Mommy, sorry. I love you. Good mom ka naman po."

Those are just few of many experiences I had being a mother. Being a mother is not an easy job yet it's a very rewarding one. Because your reward is your kid's love, their hugs and their kisses. I know many moms like me think that our best is always not enough. But for our kids it's actually more than enough.

Always remember that for our kids our love is like nothing else in this world. For them, a mother's love is always more than enough.

My 36th, A Three-Day Celebration

Time flies so fast. Parang kelan lang I celebrated my 35th birthday, now I'm 36 na!

Yep, I just turned a year older. Whew! We can't really stop the time from running so fast. So I realized instead of worrying about what's not happening yet, I must enjoy my life at present. It maybe easier said than done, but I know for as long as I trust God, everything is doable and possible.

That's why I had a three-day simple birthday celebration. Simple yet it made me feel special and loved. First day was at work with my colleagues and friends.

Daddy and I cooked Pancit and sizzling tofu, and made Buco Pandan. Daddy bought Chooks to Go oven roasted chicken too.

After our Saturday meeting, Daddy and I went straight to our hometown because Matthew is still there. On our way home, Daddy gave me this pair of gold earrings.

Advance birthday gift na sya dahil mabuko ko when I saw a credit card transaction unknown to me.

At the back of my mine, namamahalan ako but gold is a good investment. Also, he knew that I am looking at gold earrings online and yes I want it. I asked him nga if I am already old at jewelry na gift nya. He laughed pero I told him okay lang if necklace naman sa Mother's Day or anniversary namin, hehe.

So ayun nga, we went to our hometown because Matthew is still there. I was so happy to see him and so do this little boy. Paano pa naman wish granted and request nyang Minions Mister Donut at fried chicken. We bought fried isaw, okoy and that orange egg.

I always look forward to long weekend. Mas matagal break sa work and we have more cuddling time.

The next day, we had another celebration. Daddy and I prepared dinner. Of course, my birthday celebration is not complete without spaghetti.

Dinner with our family is love!

And on my birthday mismo, we had a boddle fight.

My sister-in-law made this that she called tarpapel, haha.

We had full tummy after.

My birthday was almost perfect but I wish my sibling were there too. And also, this was the first time I'm celebrating my birthday without my mother. I missed my Nanay especially when I see woman as old as her. I wish she never left us. I feel like no matter how happy and blessed I am, there's this something that's missing. She must be that hole. I missing her everyday.

But I know she's in a much better place and she's watching over us. She's still the reason why we, her kids, are closer than before. With that, I must be thankful.

Would like to take this opportunity to everyone who greeted me on my special day, All your greetings were heartwarming and I feel loved. God bless you all.

Have a great weekend.
