Our Holy Week 2018

Hello everyone!

I know late post again. Ang dami kasing naging ganap and one is my eldest half brother died.

Anyway life goes on. I know he is in the best place where there's no pain and sadness. We gain another angel again.

Well, I am here to share how we spent our Holy Week this year. If you are a regular reader of this blog, maybe you already notice that whenever there's an opportunity to have a long break from work we always choose to spend that with our family.

So just like the previous years, we spend this Holy Week with our family. We started it with attending a mass on Palm Sunday.

Then, we went home on Holy Thursday na. We took the early trip para iwas traffic pero ang dami pa din pala bumibiyahe that early in the morning.

Here with my not so little boy. My grocery buddy, aside from his Dad.

I am here with my sister when we visit our brother on Good Friday. One thing I like talaga is to bond with my siblings.

On Black Saturday, we went to Our Lady of Manaoag. Supposedly, Thursday kami pupunta but because it was so hot we chose not to go. Ayun natuloy naman ng Saturday.

It's been 12 years since our visit here. First time naman ni Matthew.

After hearing a very early mass, we went home na din agad. But of course, souvenir photos muna.

On Easter Sunday, Matthew got a chance to bond with his cousins.

And nephew.

My heart is over flowing with happiness whenever I am with my family.

Before going to Daddy's place, dumaan muna kami dito sa sunflower garden at Central Luzon State University (CLSU), our Alma Mater.

There we took many photos of us with the sunflowers.

Ang dami ding dumarayo dito to take selfies, groufies, etc.

So there you go. We pray, enjoy and love one another, just the way I wanted and just what we need.

Will be sharing more stories pa. Just hang on guys. Until then!

Our Holy Week 2012

We have been so much for the past months of 2012 so we really deserve this long vacation. We cannot go to beach or even at pool right now. The wounds my son got from his burn accident are all healed but the marks are still there. The Doctor said the marks should not be exposed to sunlight for at least 6 months. The sunlight can darken the marks making it permanently dark. Ouch!

So no beach which means no swimming. Init pa naman, hay…
We started the Holy week on Palm Sunday. We had our mass at 8:30 in the morning. There were so many people and the weather is so hot that day. After the mass, we decided to go to Baclaran Church. It has been 2 years since the last time we went there, I am still pregnant with Matt I think.
Allan do not want to take the car to Baclaran because since it is Palm Sunday, expected na na matao dun at mahirap pumasok so loob. So we left the car near our office in Caloocan. We rode a jeep then LRT from Monumento to Baclaran.
It was Matt’s first train ride and what is really funny was that everytime na hihinto ang train at sasara ang pinto he will imitate the toot toot toot sound.

He said flowers pag nakakakita ng trees na may bulaklak.

Surprisingly, pag baba ng LRT hindi ganun karami and tao to think that it was Sunday and it’s Palm Sunday pa. Here are some of our photos there:

Mommy and Matt holding hands while walking.

Ayan tatakas na.

See, feeling nya mall ang simbahan.

Kelangan pa talagang kaladkarin. hehe

Ayaw pahawak kay Mama (my MIL)

Whenever we go here, we always light up candles and pray.

Then came the much awaited 5-day vacation. We were unsure if we will go to our hometown but then decided at the very last minute na umuwe na nga lang.
We visited our Alma Matter, Central Luzon State University (CLSU). Matt really enjoyed running around the part infront of the Administration building. Dito kami tumatambay noon. We studied here from kindergarten to college, super tagal kaya naming nakulong dito, haha.

Picture agad ang mag-ama.

May fish na sa harap ang Admi.

Bilis ng tumakbo ng Matthew!

He is having so much fun.

I super like this one.

Then, we go to the lagoon...

Dito super naaliw si Matthew.

For the first time, he forgot his mouth.

Mommy!

We went back to Bulacan on Black Saturday para naman makapagpahinga pa kami. Since hinde kami nakapagsimba ng Sunday, pumunta kami ng National Shrine of Divine Mercy ng Monday (buti holiday pa din- Araw ng Kagitingan).

Ang mag-ama sa harap ng falls.

My sister, Fevy with her cute mini-me, Gelai.

So cute, chubby cheeks.

Serious ang mag-ama.

Matt said Jesus but he was afraid to touch Him.

Eto gusto nya kasi may tubig na umaagos.

My sister, Gelai and my dearest mudra.

There it goes. Anyways, we have enjoyed the 5-day vacation naman kaya sige okay na nga (napipilitan ba?).

Kayo, how's your vacation?
