Photostory: New Toy

He has a new toy...

And he is extremely delighted and happy.

We have been looking for this for so long. We found one last Sunday at the market. It cost 20 pesos only but it's small. I am planning to buy a bigger one but I can't find one at Toy Kingdom or SM.

Anyone knows where to buy a bigger one? Thanks in advance.

Daily Inspiration: Be the Best You Can Be

Hello guys! October is almost over and the days are moving fast. It's actually faster than I expect it. Christmas is here and our Christmas tree is already up. I will post about it later. Daddy already set up the Christmas lights too. We failed to bought lanterns from Pampanga. We planned to buy early this year so it's a bit cheaper. I am sure the price now is at high and so maybe next year will try to buy again.

It's the last day of my in-laws here and we will drive them to Pulilan. Their 1-week vacation is over and I am sure they will miss Matt and Matt will miss them too. But next week, we will be going home for the long holidays. Yey!

Before I forget, here's our Daily Inspiration.

You may not be a star but you can be the best you can be.

Have a Blessed Sunday!

Daily Inspiration: Being Loved Gives Us Courage

Good morning! How's your holiday yesterday? Sorry I forgot to post a Daily Inspiration yesterday. I was really busy the whole day. Actually, I supposed go to work but decided not to because it's raining and I want to spend time with my son. And I was not disappointed because the whole day was still productive and I got to enjoy quality time with my son, my husband and my in-laws.

So now, here's our Daily Inspiration.

Have you watched the final episode of Walang Hanggan last night? I am a bit disappointed because I am used to happy endings. Nevertheless, the ending is still happy for all and even for the main characters, Daniel and Katerina who get to spend life together after life in Heaven (I think). I am not fond of this series but since my in-laws are watching it last night and we are still up doing crochet, we get to watch the finale. Haha.

Well, moving forward. I remember Daniel saying that Katerina is the source of his strength. Giving him courage to fight for and live life. And so when Katerina died, a big part of him died too and even wish to join her wherever she is.

Loving someone gives us enough strength to survive anything in life. And being loved by someone gives us courage to move and keep moving, and to live.

To my one and only love, Happy 111th Monthsary! I love you and I will always will. Hanggang sa dulo ng walang hanggan. *hugs&kisses*

Happy Saturday!

Daily Inspiration: Never Give Up

Hello! There's a typhoon somewhere in the south but still Bulacan is at signal #1 already. The rain is not that hard this morning but the sky is gloomy. I hope everyone is just fine today.

Here's our Daily Inspiration.

As the saying goes, "habang may buhay may pag-asa" (as long as you are living, there's always hope), we should never give up on life and on anybody. I remember this quote from a conversation with a friend. We were talking about our problems with our siblings and that quote from her dad made me realize something. I shouldn't lose hope and I should never give up.

Happy Thursday!

Daily Inspiration: Making Mistakes is Okay

Good morning! Sorry I am a little late. I have been busy since yesterday fixing this site. In case you didn't notice, this site is having an unplanned make-over. That's why it looks messy yesterday and early this morning. I think it looks better now, haha. Since my Artisteer software won't work, I just use one of the Blogger template. With the way it looks now, I have the strong urge to change the header as well. But my free time now is for my shop's orders so maybe I will do it after all the orders are done.

Anyway, here's our Daily inspiration for today.

Don't be afraid to make mistakes because it means you are doing something. It is much better to make mistake because you are trying than to not have any mistake because you are afraid to try anything. Life is so short to just stay in your comfort zone. Free your self, it's okay to make mistakes sometimes.

Happy Wednesday!

Photostory: The Techie Boy 2

Here's our little Techie Boy again.

He loves watching Mickey Mouse, Words World, Pooh and Friends, ABC, and Nursery Rhymes. So we decided to buy him a tablet. At first we just want to buy him a cheaper brand of tablet. But then when we saw that the Samsung galaxy tab is on sale, we decided to buy that na lang.

The first time he hold it, he was so amazed and behaved. Now, he already learn how to operate it and can even unlock it with the button or by swiping. Imagine how many times I plead to him not to tick the lock and volume buttons. He will stop then will do it again and again and again. Actually, he can open his video on his own and the other night he is exploring the net. I hope it is just by accident. Haha.

So that's my techie boy who loves to explore gadgets. Love him much!

Daily Inspiration: Procastination

Hello! It's Saturday! I am hoping I will have a restful weekend unlike the previous weeks.

Here's our Daily Inspiration for today.

I agree with this. If we cram on things, chances are the result would not be good and that time is just wasted. I am sometimes guilty of it so I just take it easy and know what is my priority. For I always believe that more than quantity, quality is much important.

Happy weekend!

It is very to plan what's to cook everyday right. We tried to have a weekly menu and we survived doing it for a month then we are back to scratch again, haha.

Parenting Tips: I Make a Shift because I Care

Moms and Dads! Let me share this with you...

I am not posting this because I resell cloth diapers. I will never mind if you don't buy from me as long as you will shift from disposable diapers to reusable cloth diapers. It is not only about the money you can save, but it's all about how you can help save the environment and your baby

I shifted from disposable diapers to cloth diapers because I care. Will you also make the shift?

Daily Inspiration: Love is Better

Good morning!

I can already smell the Christmas season or should I say, Christmas is in the air. I wish to hear more Christmas songs. It is so refreshing and it reminds me of so many precious memories. I remember when I was young (and carefree, haha), I was always excited when December comes. Because for me, it means new clothes, delicious foods, gifts and more love. I always look forward to Lantern Parade at CLSU. I missed it so much because since I had my work, I haven't seen the Lantern Parade again. It has been 9 years now and I hope I can go back to see it again, this time with our son.

And since, Christmas is almost here, I am sharing this Daily Inspiration for today.

Absolutely true, especially in the eyes of a child. No matter how much gifts we pour on them, still they will appreciate more the love and time we are giving them. Love is still better after all. So why not give love on Christmas day and everyday?

Happy Thursday!

Parenting Tips: Mom's Guide to the Five Love Languages of Children

Yay, look what I have found in my draft folder.

Here's my little son's 5 Languages:

Touch - Matt loves to be cuddle and kiss. He also know when to make us calm when we almost lost patient with him. When he saw his Daddy (or anyone of us) already mad at him, he will approach him and say "loves daddy!", then kiss Daddy. So sweet right? So Daddy will calm down, haha.

When I am at home, he loves following me and he will ask to be carried around. That's the reason why during weekend, I am much tired though that's really priceless for me. I know I must take advantage of this because time will come that he will no longer ask for it. #sentimom

Words - Matt is so bright that he almost know everything a preschooler must know. As of now he is learning how to write. Thanks to her ever patient Tita. Matt loves to hear the "very good" phrase. In fact after he sing or recite something, he will say "Yey! Very good!". Last Sunday, we went to grocery and Matt entertain a saleslady by singing Bahay Kubo. He is never shy and I wonder as to whom he get that because both Mom and Dad were shy during our younger years. Aside from "very good", he loves saying "thank you", "ay sorry" and "loves".

Oh, he also knows how to pray. He will say before we sleep, "mommy, pray tayo". Here's his cute prayer:

(Sign of the Cross) Jesus, Thank you po sa milk at pagkain. Sana wag na ako ma-bog dun. Di na po ako akyat hagdan. Sana wag na po ako magkasakit. AMEN (Sign of the Cross.)

With putol putol words, he's saying that every night. He used to repeat after me, but now he will be angry if I will do that. He just want to do it on his own.

Quality Time - This is what I am guilty of. Since, we are busy doing orders for our online shop, we spend less time with my son. So what we do is to do it with him. He loves it. He will even grab the hook and the yarn, and act as if he knows how to crochet. I will post photo of him holding a hook soon. He is so cute. #proudmom

He loves sitting on my lap when watching TV or when I am doing something, hehe. He loves to intrude us and get our attention. Oh he loves to see us laughing. The other night while eating, I said "sarap tirisin" out of my little inis because he is making it hard for us to feed him but when he his with Tita he is not that naman. I heard him laugh and his laughter is so contagious. He cutely repeat "sarap tirisin" and laugh in between. So who can ever resist his charm and get mad at him??? Daddy?

Gifts - What I want about Matt is he is so appreciative. He will say "wow"  every time you hand him something. He loves pasalubong and I have mentioned before it here that he is always asking for lollipop as pasalubong. He is not into toys but he loves books so much. Whenever we pass by National Bookstore he will scream "wow! dami books!"

I also notice that he loves music. So I downloaded educational videos with lots of music. I also downloaded piano and drums apps on his tablet. We are planning to buy him his own piano this Christmas. The last time we went to SM, he is super happy to see the piano on sale. We will but that for sure.

Service - Since he turned two, I observe that he does not want being served. I mean he wants to do it on his own. We can already command him to hand us something. He can turn on and off the lights, TV and electric fan. I am just scared that he will also learn to insert the plug into the sockets so we see to it that sockets are invisible to him, haha.

I let him learn things on his own. When I am cleaning  I will give him his cleaning tools too. He is such a neat boy. He will also help Tita in folding the clothes and last night he proudly shows how to fold his cloth diaper insert.

We always encourage Matt to do good and we show him that we appreciate all his little efforts. Because those little efforts mean big to him already. I know it will help build his self confidence and will never be a shy boy when he grows up.

Whew, this is such a long post after a long time. So I better end here, because I need to get back to work now. Haha.

Happy Parenting Moms and Dads!

Daily Inspiration: Don't Quit!

Hello! How's your morning? Mine is just okay. I always see to it that I wake up with a smile. How can I ever be unhappy when I always wake up in between my two boys, haha.

Uy, October is more than half over now. My goodness, Christmas is so coming! Last Saturday we went to Divisoria. Oh my gulay! It's October pa lang yet there are  so many people already, as in, face to face while walking through the sidewalks or should I say the main road, haha.

Let's brighten up our happy morning with our Daily Inspiration.

Quitters are losers. Though I know you should also know your limitations. But generally, life's difficulty is just a facade, come inside and you will see the opportunity that comes with it.

So don't ever quit

Daily Inspiration: Help and Make A Difference

Good morning! It's another brand new week and it's payday!

I am terribly busy for the passed weeks and hopefully I can breathe a little this week. Daddy said, I should take it easy in accepting made to order crochet items. I must because, it's eating up our time. Like last night, we slept almost two in the morning and we need to wake up at 5am. I know, I know, we are abusing our health but this will be the last we will do that. Actually, I feel sleepy now that's why I drink a cup of coffee.

Anyway, enough of the morning drama. Here's our Daily Inspiration fro today!

Everyday we see people in need. I know you have experience beggars gently tapping your arms asking for 1 peso. But there are beggars who are really choosy though. If you will give them 1 peso they will give it back to you, haha. Have you experienced that?

Sometimes, I get pissed off when they are endlessly approaching you especially when they knew you have given one or two of them. My heart goes out to the little children. It breaks my heart to see a mother or a father holding a barely newborn baby roaming around the Church or the market, or park to ask for help. Maybe some of them are left with no choice or others have the main intention of getting sympathy because of the baby. They shouldn't bring the baby with them but who am I to judge them? Still, I will never get tired of helping people in need and it's up to them what heir intentions are. We can make a difference and let us spread kindness throughout the world. Always share your blessings.

Happy Monday!

Daily Inspiration: Love and be Lovable

Hello everyone! Whew! I thought I can't make it today, but it is better late than never.

Don't have enough sleep because I have finished orders for today's shipping and Matt has sinat (slight fever?). I think it's already past 1 in the morning when I finally slept. I kept on monitoring Matt's temperature and thank God the highest is 37.5 only. I hope he gets better today so I can work well. I am trying to call them at home but my goodness my Sun Cellular has no signal!!! We are all Sun subscribers here and all of our phone has no signal. What happen to Sun?! So now, I really can't concentrate at work thinking of my sick baby at home. I wish it's already 4:30 na so I could go home. *sigh*

Anyway, here's our Daily Inspiration for today.

So true right? If you are loved, then there's no reason why you shouldn't love and be lovable. Love! Love! Love!

Have a lovely day!
