6 Tips for Negotiating with Your Mind

Forcing yourself to do something is not always easy. Why? Because our minds often behave like a child. Did it happen that you ask the child to work, instead of playing? The child will most likely not approve of your offer and will try to avoid work. If he does not succeed, he will do this work with reluctance and laziness, so that you will lose patience and free his from work.

The same thing happens with your mind. An intelligent person is a person who can think that he uses his head (this does not do all and not always) and has the necessary material for this (objective knowledge).

In the everyday sense, a smart person is one who knows a lot and does all paper writing well. But, generally speaking, intelligent - not the same as that read or educated. A part of society has developed a stereotype that a smart person must know physics, mathematics and similar disciplines, do essay writing, etc. However, if a person knows a lot, this only speaks of his good memory and, perhaps, of his desire to learn something.

It is also wiser to call a person who can use his knowledge, on the basis of which he can produce his point of view on certain issues, to make some logical inferences and make decisions. Terms can be made both template and non-trivial but in most cases lead to the correct result. An intelligent person sees his nose further (looking out of perspective), unlike most people. He is able to analyze events and distinguish between essential and immaterial.

How to negotiate with your mind correctly?

These negotiations should be similar to negotiations with the child. So read a few writing tips:

1) Do not quarrel

Do not quarrel your brain. The more violence you apply to your mind, the more reluctant it will work.

2) Visualize the purpose

Just like a child, you have to show your mind visually - what benefit will it get from doing your job. You can explain to the child that, having received a good education and have achieved success, it will be able to continue to buy a car, for example. The word success does not mean anything to the child. But he will know that in order to get a car, he needs to learn well. This will move him in the right direction.

Find out where your prosperous friends work and what their salary is. Then imagine a laptop of your dreams, the price of which is equal to your monthly salary. The desire to buy it will make you follow the footsteps of your acquaintances and doing any good paper writing. You seem to motivate yourself.

3) Assist

If you send a child to work in a sunshine, and at this time you will sit in the shade, sipping cold lemonade, it may seem that you are mocking her and she will stop working. If you help the child, she will follow your directions with greater desire.

Similarly, you must work with your mind. For example, if you read, then read, and do not chew mentally in the clouds.

4) Reward

Each child requires a reward after completing work. Children may not talk about it aloud, but they want encouragement.

Think of the reward for your mind. For example, you can snooze for 30 minutes.

5) Raise your interest

Children do not like home cleaning, it's too boring for them. But if you distribute the room between the children and assign a reward for the cleanest room in the form of a weekly exemption from cleaning, the children will have an incentive, they will become more interesting and work will be done at a moment's notice.

When reading a book, you can submit characters to your friends and acquaintances.

6) Do not plan too far forward

Children hate when they are instructed to do many things at once. They will last until the first task, so as not to step on to others.

Do not try to solve several tasks at the same time, focus on something for one.

Those are some tips you can try. If you have other tips, please share with us.

Best Family Vacation Destinations

A good family weekend is no longer about settling kids in the car and driving to the nearest amusement park. Modern families are searching for the ways to stretch their horizons when traveling with their closest ones. From sunny exotic beaches to sleepless cities, the search for the best family vacation destination is always difficult. After sharing top 5-Year Dating Anniversary ideas, we’ve decided to gather the top destinations and places of interest to inject some novelty into your family getaway. Pick the right one for your crew, no matter who’s tagging along for the ride.

vacation, family, best destinations, family bonding

1. Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida

There is probably no other place in the world, that worships childhood as much as Orlando, Florida. That feeling you get as you catch the lights off at Epcot Center’s Spaceship Earth or from your first gulp of Butterbeer in Hogsmeade, or when you witness the soaring heights of Shamu’s flips. All these prove that being a kid is your state of mind, no matter how old you are.

In reality, those attractions given above are only the smallest part of that you see as you arrive in Orlando. And the best part – all that appeals to all ages and there’s far more to do here than visiting other theme parks. Florida’s subtropical climate is awesome for golfing and the downtown part of the city is too tempting not to explore!

2. Yosemite

One of Cali’s most astonishing natural wonders, Yosemite National Park steps up with approx.1,200 square miles of entirely nature-made sights – soaring cascades, roaring waterfalls, millennial redwoods, daunting cliffs and some incredible rock formations in the North America. Although its enormous size, most of the tourist activity ground is located within nearly 7 square miles of Yosemite Valley.

Driving here you will find the place’s signature landmarks - Half Dome and El Capitan, along with magnificent hiking trails past all the natural attractions. Even unskilled hikers are guaranteed to enjoy Yosemite. Guided tours and climbing master classes are proposed. Just don’t attempt to master up it by yourself.

Like many other tourist attractions in the USA, crowds are the major obstacle in the Yosemite weekend - at least 5 million people visit the national park each year. But if you get here at the right time (and wake up a little earlier), all of nature’s wonders will be revealed to you in a miraculous and tranquil atmosphere.

3. Princess Cruises, Alaska

Princess Cruises admits that different age categories have different needs. However, all family members with no exception will enjoy coming to Alaska! Families can arrive here for the Klondike Festival (with dog-sledge trips) and the Midnight Moon party (people of all ages crowding under the light of the midnight moon). A weekend there includes going down to a gold mine and even taking part in a lumberjack contest.

4. Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

Spend a day sunbathing on the sunny coast with an exit to local national history museum. This colonial-style building comprises the destination’s cultural history presenting it on 3D displays and videos. Indulge in spying bright blue iguanas under the recovery program, residing in the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. An hour-long guided excursion is ideal for any type of family and if your dad does not really share an interest in lizards, he can always enjoy the dreamlike flora of the park.

5. Sydney, Australia

Sydney features both a laid-back coastline city and a thriving metropolis that brags some of the Southern Hemisphere’s best surfing options, landmarks and activities. Whether you want to watch a show at the most recognizable Sydney Opera House, ride the waves at Bondi Beach or investigate some trendy areas like The Rocks and Darling Harbor. Sydney certainly got something for everyone! Even the locals have an amazing mix of so much different worlds - fashion-forward dressing and British sarcasm combined with a “don’t worry” attitude and easy-going coastal vibe.

Australia’s one of most populous cities suggests literally tons of stuff to do. Goosebumps-seekers can test themselves in heart-pounding activities at Sydney Harbor Bridge, while tourists looking for a less extreme time will appreciate a day of complete rest at Coogee or go out for a peaceful stroll along the evening beach. There are also plenty of seasonal traditional festivals and events to attend, so make sure you catch at least one of them. Whether you’re a sports fan and you’d like to visit and enjoy a rugby match, run through the city’s museums or tan on a beach, Sydney will keep you tuned.

6. La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica

You possibly won’t find any other such an action-packed location as Costa Rica! Kayaking, zip-lining and wind surfing, to name a few options. In addition, there’s an opportunity to discover fascinating wildlife - apes, sloths, hundreds of various bird species. Everything right outside your door.

Bonus: This exotic location won’t hit your budget very hard. Don’t forget to bring your GoPro to capture all the great things!  Rush for some extreme-packed adventures or try out the three-hour walk across hanging bridges or glide up in the sky above the jungle in the Sky Tram.

Nestled at the foot of the Arenal volcano, La Fortuna comes up with a mass of accommodation options. For example, the hotel boasts a couple of hot springs and some natural pools on its property. The hotel itself provides private villas for rent that feature several bedrooms and dining room with magnificent volcano views. La Fortuna also owns airy family rooms with a king-size bed for adults and a smaller bed to accommodate a child, as well as stunning possibilities of transforming a room if needed.

Hello there muthers!

How's life na ba mga beshies?

Wala lang, medyo sinisipag akong magblog e. Nakalkal ko lang mga photos and sayang naman if I will not share these to you.

So ayun nga, it's been 3 years na since I ordered bento tools. Medyo pricey kasi bento tools like picks na laging naiwawala ni Matthew. Then I stopped preparing bento baons na because of busy schedule and Matthew said he didn't like it na.

However, when the school started this year, Matthew requested to have his lunch baon too. I bought a new lunch box and from there I had an urge to create bento again. Though I am not that good, my little boy appreciates it so happy na ako dun. Then he knows how to take care of the picks na at hindi na nya naiwawala. That's why I ordered more bento tools from a nice seller at Shopee

Thank goodness for online shopping. It makes mommy life easier. You can find almost all your household needs like floral drapes, kitchen utensils and a lot more.

Like these silicon molders.

Heto na, pick! The top fruit picks set is only Php 39.00 per 4-piece set, while the lower fruit picker set is only Php 19.00 per 12-piece set. I wish she has more pick designs.

Pajama Party 2017

Last November 3, Matthew had his 3rd pajama party. If you have read this Matthew Andrei's First Pajama Party and this Matthew Andrei's Second Pajama Party, pajama party is one of the school activities Matthew has been waiting for every year. In fact, he asked me to buy a new pair of pajamas. Of course, he chose a Spiderman design pajama. Look!

Actually, he was supposed to take a week vacation at Nueva Ecija and will return on Novermber 5 instead. But he insisted to go back on or before November 3 because he really wanted to attend this year's pajama party.  He also told us to be home before 5:30pm so he will not be late.

He even asked us to buy some candies and chocolates for his classmates.

Pagdating palang isa-isa nya ng nilapitan ang mga classmates nya.

Kami naman ni Daddy, we waited outside. E ayan bilog ata ang buwan so Daddy asked me to took a photo of him like this, hehe.

After an hour, Matthew and the rest of the students came out to have a short program and a bonfire.

Each grade level had their cheer presentation.

Here's Matthew and his classmates' presentation.

After that, they had class picture taking.

They went back to their respective rooms after that. Ako naman, I tried to blog while waiting sana but I can't think e. Honestly, I had so many stories to share but I can't find that inspiration to write.

So please bear with me as I am trying to get back to blogging track again. I wish this 3-day holiday because of ASEAN summit helped me recharge.

Would love to hear from you guys. Ano bang ganap sa buhay mga beshies?

Early Symptoms of Pregnancy (Oopps.. False Alarm?)

Few weeks ago, I had experienced early symptoms of pregnancy. I felt nervous and happy at the same knowing we might have a new bundle of joy soon.

Early symptoms of pregnancy for some women begin in the first few weeks after conception. Pregnancy symptoms also vary in intensity, duration and frequency. Oftentimes, many of early pregnancy symptoms can be similar to pre-menstrual discomforts. I compile a list of early pregnancy symptoms (most of which I had experienced recently) to help you determine if you are indeed pregnant or just a false alarm.

Food cravings and aversions

Been craving for pancit malabon and puto. So I ordered these on Daddy A's lola's birthday.

Early Symptoms of Pregnancy, health, pregnancy, pregnancy signs, women's health, symptoms of pregnancy

Food cravings are common when you're pregnant. During pregnancy, you might also experience strong dislike of certain foods like coffee or the smell of garlic. These food preference can be attributed to hormonal changes, especially during the first trimester when there's an extreme hormonal change.

Nausea with or without vomiting

I also experienced nausea but without vomiting. In my first pregnancy also, I didn't experience morning sickness and vomiting. Lucky me right?

As early as a week into pregnancy, many women experience illness in the morning or morning sickness, some in the afternoon or evening while others may experience nausea throughout the entire day. It's not clear what is the cause of nausea but a part of it can be caused by the rapid rising of estrogen level. Also, pregnant women have a intensified sense of smell that's why various odors like perfume, cigarette smoke and smell of foods can induce nausea. There is no solution to prevent it but  there are ways to fight its effect like eating small frequent meals and eating saltine crackers.

Heartburn

Heartburn is a common complaint during pregnancy. I just had this recently and I had it worst in my first pregnancy. Heartburn includes a burning sensation in the center of the chest, but it has nothing to do with the heart. Heartburn occurs when the valve between the stomach and the esophagus are unable to prevent stomach acid from passing back into the esophagus. There's increase frequency of heartburn during pregnancy because the hormone progesterone causes the valve between the stomach and the esophagus to relax. Thus, the valve is unable to prevent stomach acid from passing back into the esophagus and irritates the lining.

Mood swings and irritability

Another common early symptoms of pregnancy is mood swings and irritability. The flood of hormones in the body during pregnancy can make you unusually emotional and weepy. Just what I had experience recently and this poor little poor tasted how bitter it was. Aw....

Frequent Urination

Many women start to experience frequent urination within a week or two after pregnancy occurred. During pregnancy, the uterus swell and immediately start to enlarge for the growing fetus. Thus making the uterus puts pressure on the bladder and makes you fell the need for more frequent urination.

Constipation

Constipation is another common early pregnancy symptom that gets worse as the pregnancy progresses. The increase in progesterone makes the bowel functions slow down to allow maximum absorption time of vitamins and nutrients, which can lead to constipation.

Tender and swollen breast

One of the first symptoms of pregnancy, as early as two weeks after conception, is tender and swollen breasts. Hormonal changes can make your breasts tender, swollen and tingly or sore, and start to enlarge making the veins within the breast more visible. Nipples may start to darken in color, become more erect and be very sensitive.

Headaches, fatigue, dizziness and/or fainting

Hormonal changes, during early pregnancy, causes increased in blood circulation that may trigger frequent and mild headaches. Also, high levels of progesterone can make a pregnant woman feel sleepy and at the same time, the lower blood sugar level, the lower blood pressure and the increased blood production combine to absorb your energy during pregnancy. Dizziness and/or fainting is cause by the dilation of blood vessels and drop of blood pressure. This may also be triggered by low blood sugar during early pregnancy.

Over the past weeks I really feel weak and I easily get tired. Thank God I have this little boy who makes me feel better and love, amidst my being moody and irritable.

Raised basal body temperature

Basal body temperature is the body temperature at rest or wake up time. This temperature slightly increase soon after ovulation and will remain at that level until your next period. It's continuous elevation for more than two weeks may indicate pregnancy.

Light bleeding or cramping

Another first early symptoms of pregnancy is slight bleeding known as implantation bleeding. This happens when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterus lining, about 10 to 14 days after fertilization.  This kind of vaginal bleeding is usually a bit earlier, spottier and lighter in color, and doesn't stay long as with the normal period. Abdominal cramping, similar to menstrual cramps, also is being experience by some women during early pregnancy.

Missed period

The most obvious early symptom of pregnancy is missed period. When you've missed your monthly cycle, it's a possible sign that you are pregnant and will prompt you to search more for other pregnancy symptoms. Also, you may not have the above signs until you noticed you've missed your period just like what happened to me as shown in this period tracker app.

Early Symptoms of Pregnancy, health, pregnancy, pregnancy signs, women's health, symptoms of pregnancy. missed period, period tracker

Those are some early symptoms of pregnancy. However, the above symptoms aren't unique to pregnancy. The onset and and degree will vary within women. Some symptoms can indicate that you are sick or that your period is just delayed and about to start. To make sure, you might want to take a home pregnancy test. In my case, my period was 13 days delayed and that prompted me to take a pregnancy test two times. Which turned out to be negative and the next day I had my period. Aw...

Experiencing most of the above symptoms and the missed period really made me feel I am pregnant. That idea, just like what I have said, excites me and made me feel nervous at the same time. Thinking we will have additional bundle of joy is love but remembering what I have went through in my first pregnancy scares me. Anyway, it may not be the right time. I believe in God's perfect time and He will bless us soon.

4 Ways that People Stay Motivated When Trying to Lose More than 25 Pounds

Many individuals desire to lose weight in order to achieve a particular body size that makes them feel happy and comfortable in their own skin. Such a journey, however, requires a lot of dedication, effort, and patience and many people tend to lose motivation along the way. The following tips will encourage you to stay motivated when trying to lose weight.

1. Get involved in a Nutrisystem plan

In order to lose weight, it is best to sign up or get engaged in a diet plan. This will enable you to stick to a healthy diet which will work concurrently with regular exercise in order to help you achieve the desired weight. In order to stay committed to healthy dieting, it is recommended to use a Nutrisystem plan instead of trying to use a self-designed plan. Nutrisystem is a nutritional program with different diet plans suited for diverse needs. It is also very affordable. A lot of resources are available online which will provide more info on the same that will enable you to choose and get started on a nutrition program.

2. Reward yourself

We all have different weight loss journeys, some aim to lose probably a little bit more than 25 pounds, while others want to lose a larger figure in order to achieve their desired weight. Whatever the case, losing those pounds may prove to be a daunting task and it requires a lot of effort. It is therefore only natural if we lose motivation along the way and end up giving up. One way to avoid this is to reward yourself after achieving a particular goal, for example, after losing 5 pounds.

3. Do it as a team

Losing weight as an individual may be a hard task since you have to draw all your energy and motivation from yourself. Doing it as a team though is quite an advantage since it sets a healthy competitive mood which will not only motivate you but your colleagues as well to lose as much weight as they can. Involving your friends and family members is even more beneficial. This is due to the fact that friends and family will not let you quit and this will help one stay motivated.

4. Adjust your environment

Create an environment that reflects all that you want to be and surround yourself with items that can motivate you to achieve your desired weight. For example, clean out unhealthy sugary snacks and desserts from your kitchen such as cakes and chocolate. Fill your house with fruit and vegetables and fruit juices. In your bedroom, hang that item that you will want to wear by the mirror, for example, that pair of skinny jeans. Download apps on your phone that will offer new exercise routines or healthy recipes. Such an environment will be a constant reminder of what you need and would like to achieve. Surrounding yourself with such like reminders will go a long way in keeping you motivated.
