5 Powerful Recipes for Your Wellness in 2019


Living in a fast-paced world, we don’t have much time to think about our health and wellness. While trying to catch up with everything that goes around us, we forget to think about what’s going on with ourselves. As a result, most of us feel exhausted, sad, and nervous.

And, as the old saying “You are what you eat” says, the food we eat plays a major role when it comes to our well-being. Namely, if we don’t eat healthy food, we won’t be healthy. Therefore, we need to start consuming nutrients-rich foods. And, if you want that too, here are 5 powerful recipes to try this year.

1. No-Bake Brownies with CBD

These brownies might seem like regular brownies but they aren’t. What makes them different from the others is their secret ingredient – CBD oil. Known for its numerous benefits, a lot of people started using it, either as drops or as a vape juice.

Ingredients:

2 bananas
4 tbsp cacao powder
2 tbsps almond butter (or other nut butter)
1 tsp CBD oil
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp warm water

Instructions:

Blend the bananas.
Add the other ingredients into the blender and blend until a dough is formed. If it’s too dry, add more water.
Put the dough into a pan covered with baking paper and press it.
Pour chocolate chunks over the dough as a topping.
Put it in the fridge for at least one hour.
Cut it into small pieces and add 1-2 drops of CBD oil.

2. Energizing Superfood Cereal

If you lack energy, this cereal is what you need. It’s a great idea for breakfast, to boost your energy in the morning. Here’s how to prepare it.

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups Raw Oat or Buckwheat Groats
2 cups Hempseed/Almond/Oat Milk (it’s your choice)
2 tbsp Goji Berries
2 tsp Cacao Nibs
6 cups Water
½ tsp Fresh Ginger Root, minced
½ tsp Fresh Turmeric Root, minced
2 tsp Coconut Nectar
2 tsp ground Ashwagandha
Cinnamon as you wish

Instructions:

Soak the oat/buckwheat groats in water for 24-48 hours.
Drain the water and divide them into two bowls.
Pour 1 cup of the hempseed milk over each bowl.
Add the other ingredients, half in each bowl.

3. Raspberry Smoothie

Raspberries are known for being rich in essential vitamins, such as C, E, and K. They are also a great source of manganese, copper, potassium, folate, and fibre. So, why not use these nature-given products for preparing a finger-licking breakfast.

Ingredients:

½ frozen banana
½ cup frozen raspberries
1 cup steamed and frozen cauliflower florets
1 tsp ground flaxseed
1 tsp coconut butter (or coconut oil)
1 cup cashew milk
½ cup of water
Cinnamon or vanilla for flavour.

Instructions:

Wash and chop the cauliflower. Then. Steam it until it becomes soft.
Freeze it so it can get an ice-cream like texture.
blend it with the other ingredients until it becomes creamy.
Put nuts and fresh fruit as a topping.


4. Extra Crispy French Fries

French fries are healthy, how come? Well, French fries can be healthy if you know how to prepare them. So, let’s see.

Ingredients:

Fries:
4-5 medium potatoes (or as much as you need)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp grated parmesan (if you want)

Seasoning:
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp sea salt
1 tsp oregano

Instructions:

Wash and peel the potatoes.
Cut them into thin slices and put them in a bowl, along with the olive oil and seasoning.
Mix it well by tossing or with a spoon.
Put the fries into a parchment-lined baking pan in one layer.
Preheat the oven on 200C (400 F).
Bake for 30 minutes. Increase the heat for the last 5 minutes, so that you get extra crispy French fries.
Sprinkle the fries with parmesan cheese if you want.


5. Pumpkin Puree with CBD

Pumpkins are a rich source of vitamins, such as A, B2, C, and E. They also contain potassium, copper, manganese, and fibre. In fact, they have all the nutrients you need for a healthy body and strong immune system.

Ingredients:

120g pumpkin puree
20g pumpkin protein powder ( or another you like)
30g Corn Flakes that are organic, sugar-free, and gluten-free
1 tsp almond butter or almonds
CBD oil
dash of Cinnamon

Instructions:

Put the pumpkin puree, the pumpkin protein powder, cinnamon, and CBD oil into a blender and blend until they become creamy.
Put the mixture in a bowl.
Add the cornflakes and almond butter or almonds on top. 

As you can see, these recipes use healthy ingredients, such as nuts, seeds, and fruits or vegetables. And, that’s what you really need for a strong body and mind. Plus, they are easy to make and are tastier than you could imagine.
