Bento Baon Serye: Simple Snack/Lunch Baon

Hello! School break is here. Finally, break din ng mga mommies like me.

But still I opted to continue posting my Bento Baon Serye just to give you more snack or lunch baon ideas for the next school year.

Here are a set of simple baons:

Snack: Lava Cake, mentos,  Bear Brand Yogu Milk Drink

Lunch: Rice, tortang talong, grapes

Snack: Loaded white chocolate-filled snack,  Ducthmill Yogurt Drink

Lunch: Rice, chicken afritada, fried banana, grapes

Snack: Egg sandwich, Choco Mucho minis, Zest-O iced tea drink

Lunch: Rice, siomai, fried banana

Snack: Pandesal egg sandwich, Sunkist orange drink

Lunch: Rice, chicken adobo, apple slices

Snack: Whatta Tops rocky road cupcakes, Selecta Moo choco drink

Lunch: Rice, chopseuy with quail eggs, apple

Bento Baon Serye: Do It Yourself Bento Picks

Hi there! How's your week so far?

If you will ask mine, kakatapos ng 2-day leave ko but parang hindi naman talaga ako nakapahinga. I cleaned the house, I did the laundry, reviewed Matthew, prepared our meals. Well, all of these naman are part of my daily activities. So, why complain? Haha

No actually, iba talaga and feeling kapag nasa bahay. Kahit nakakapagod ang house chores, I have this different fulfillment. And I am sure my son loves it when he go home and I am there. Hay, I am dreaming again.

Sige na, let me share na lang another set of bento baon. For this set, I'll share another tip. 

Bento picks are not cheap. Tapos mawawala lang hindi ba?

Snack: Pancake, Minute Maid orange drink

Lunch: Rice, siomai, buttered corn, grapes

Nake na-experience ko na yan ng ilan ulit. Sobrang nakakahinayang kapag nawala ang bento picks.

Snack: egg pandesal, Bear Brand Yogu Milk Drink, grapes

Lunch: Rice, adobo sa dilaw, grapes

So instead of buying expensive bento picks. Why not make your own pick?

Snack: ham sandwich, Bear Brand Yogu Milk Drink

Lunch: Rice, giniling with quail eggs, fried banana, apple slices

By the way, these nice picks I bought at a very low price. Check out My Bento Tools from Shopee and Daiso for cheap bento tools.

The rice molds also I bought at 24.00 pesos only for 2-piece set na.

Ayun nga, mahal ang bento picks talaga. Although meron ka ngang mabilhan ng mura, nakakahinayang pa din na kung mawawala. Much better to make your own bento picks.

Snack: banana bread, Yakult

Lunch: Rice, bistek with quail eggs, grapes

Before I don't have the eye picks. So what I did was I download photo from the net and print, then I cut and paste on a pick. Same with the mustache na upto now e naghahanap ako ng murang mabilihan, haha.

These leaves too, I print then cut and paste. Namahalan kasi ako bumili nyan  before. But I bought 2 pieces for 50.00 pesos ata.

Since my son loves McQueen.

Snack: wheat bread egg sandwich, choco iced gem, Nestle Chuckie chocolate drink

Lunch: Rice, tuna burger, fried banana and apple

So I also made these picks.

It's easy peasy actually. You can use matte stickers or bond paper then scotch tape to make it water proof.

This race flag is nice with the checkered apple right?

My New Bento Lunch Box + Food Portion Containers

Hello there!

If you are following me at Instagram (@mommymaye), you will know I am a big fun of bento making. Making bento baon for my son makes me feel happy and fulfilled. It's a way of making for the time I can't be with him. When I can't be with him during his snack and lunch breaks. 

Because of that, I have this little addiction to bento lunch box, tools and accessories. (Read: My Bento Tools from Shopee and Daiso and  Yumbox and Stainless Steel Lunch Box). 

Then last week, I saw a very nice lunch box. I contacted the supplier as soon as I saw it and wasted no time to order one and two for my kumare.

Look so nice right? This bento lunch box is available in two colors. This is the green one, which I bought for my little boy.

And this pink box that my kumare ordered.

This lunch box is claimed to be leaked proof. I have yet to try this new bento lunch box. Super excited na ako actually.

I also bought this food portion container set at Japan Home Center at 88 pesos only. Almost half the price of the one being sold online.

My Bento Tools from Shopee and Daiso

Hello there muthers!

How's life na ba mga beshies? 

Wala lang, medyo sinisipag akong magblog e. Nakalkal ko lang mga photos and sayang naman if I will not share these to you.

So ayun nga, it's been 3 years na since I ordered bento tools. Medyo pricey kasi bento tools like picks na laging naiwawala ni Matthew. Then I stopped preparing bento baons na because of busy schedule and Matthew said he didn't like it na. 

However, when the school started this year, Matthew requested to have his lunch baon too. I bought a new lunch box and from there I had an urge to create bento again. Though I am not that good, my little boy appreciates it so happy na ako dun. Then he knows how to take care of the picks na at hindi na nya naiwawala. That's why I ordered more bento tools from a nice seller at Shopee. 

Thank goodness for online shopping. It makes mommy life easier. You can find almost all your household needs like floral drapes, kitchen utensils and a lot more.


Actually, naparami ng konti kasi naman sobra talagang mura sa Shopee store na iyon. Look for chellai Japan Products.

Like these silicon molders.

A pack 4-piece silicon molder (2oz) is Php 29.00, while a pack of 3-piece silicon molder (1oz) is only Php 19.00. 

Nagandahan naman ako dito sa flower silicon molder na Php 49.00 for all that 6 pieces. The heart-shaped molders naman is Php 24.00, 4 pieces na din.

This bento plastic accessories naman is only only Php 9.00, 6 pieces na.

I ordered also these two sets of different shape cutters at Php 24.00 each. Then yun nasa ibabang cutter set is one of the freebies.

This silicon food shaper set is only Php 24.00.

This set rice molders naman is only Php 24.00.

The 16pcs blue cupcake liners set is only Php 14.00, while the 55pcs 1oz liners set is only Php 25.00.

Heto na, pick! The top fruit picks set is only Php 39.00 per 4-piece set, while the lower fruit picker set is only Php 19.00 per 12-piece set. I wish she has more pick designs.

I also ordered this 5-pair chopstick set at Php 39.00 only.

And these popsicle silicon loder at Php 15.00 each.

These naman I bought at Daiso near us. The picks set is only Php 66.00 while the egg molder set is Php 88.00
