Some stay
at home moms feel like it’s pointless to get dressed up if they’re going to be
in the house all day, but wearing yoga pants and sweatshirts with a messy bun
all day can put a damper on your mood. Dress to feel good every day. You don’t
have to put on corporate business attire, but take the time each day to do your
hair, put on a little makeup, and dress in something stylish.
Connect
with Friends
Your
female friends are an integral part of your life and maintaining your sanity.
Find ways to spend time with the girls more. You can invite them over for
lunch, have their children over for a playdate, or plan monthly meetups at your
favorite restaurant.
Exercise
Your
health should remain a top priority as a stay at home mom. Make sure that
you’ve added exercise to your daily routine. Pull out the jogging stroller and
go for a run at the park, walk the kids to school instead of driving them, or
when the baby is asleep, pop in your favorite workout video and burn some
calories.
Talk to
Your Spouse
Even
though you’re home all day, it doesn’t make your job as a mom any easier. Talk
to your spouse about helping you out. Perhaps you need them to monitor some of

Being a
stay at home mom is a blessing. Not having to choose between your career and child,
being home to tend to the needs of the family, and watching your children grow
up in ways you might miss if you had to go to work is all worth it. There’s
another side to this coin, however. When you’re home all the time, you
