Commercial trucks and trailers have been the subject of much curiosity and debate for commuters and road-trippers. What are those giant vehicles hauling, anyway, and why are there so many of them on the road? You might be surprised to know that semi-trailers can transport everything from clothes and animals to red bean chili and apple pie.
Fabric and Furniture
Have you ever wondered where clothing and furniture stores get their supplies? If the orders are smaller or if they're going to boutique stores, they might be shipped in boxes from individual retailers. Larger orders might be transported to your favorite department store on a rental trailer from commercial trailer rental company everett wa.
Food and Spices
If you’ve just purchased a jar of spaghetti sauce, you can assume that a farmer, an individual small business, or a semi-trailer made its way to your store. Groceries come from a wide variety of sources, but semi-trailers sometimes make their way across the entire country carrying meats, seafood, vegetables, and boxed goods for you to enjoy.
Farm Animals
If you’re not from a rural area or one that has a reputation for transporting a large number of animals (think the horse industry in Kentucky), you might be surprised to see a cargo of farm animals on the road right next to you. Ventilated horse trailers carry large animals like horses, cows, sheep, and pigs.
If you need a trailer of your own for your small business, farm, or bakery, you can consider renting or leasing one of your own to get your product from point A to point B. It might not be an option you’ve considered before, but renting a semi-trailer for your own use could save you time and money in the end if you’re making a lot of smaller trips to the same location.
