Congratulations Matthew Andrei!

Hello April!

Time flies really fast. I can't believe this little boy will be entering grade school this coming school year.

It's as if only yesterday was Matthew's first day in school.

And the first time he wear his school uniform.

So many times I talked about how hyperactive he is, at home and in school. So I am not surprised he got these 3 special awards, again. Hehe!

Grabbed this photo from a mommy friend in FB. As usual, we failed to see how he received these awards but he completely understands. Thank God for a very understanding boy!

Anyway, I can't help but be proud of this little boy. From being on top 5 in the first two grading periods, he climbed to the 4th spot in the 3rd quarter grading period. But I can't contained my happiness when I learned that he even climbed to the 3rd spot in the last grading period.

Those review nights that lasted until 10:30 paid off. It was a job well done for our little boy and he got the 1st honorable mention.

When I saw this, I remember how I diligently make time to review him every single weeknight. Sometimes I lost my temper but I don't give up on him and so do my little boy. With this, I feel a great fulfillment as a mother.

This is such a relief because so many times I doubted my self as a mom. Although my dream of staying at home is still there, I can now say it doesn't matter if you are a working or stay at home mom. It's a matter of how much we trust and support our kids. We should not make time as an excuse not to be there for our kids. We should make time for them.

As for my dream to stay at home, I am actually looking for an online work. I am looking at VA or online teacher job. I think I almost have all the requirements except for a headset. So now, I am looking for a good one and reading through this earbuds vs headphones article to guide me. I am giving my self until middle of this year to finally decide. I am praying for God's guidance so I can make the right decision.

By the way, tomorrow will be Matthew's moving up and I feel excited and nervous at the same time. Again, congratulations to our little boy for a job well done!
