Matthew Andrei's 4th Birthday

Yes, this is a super delayed post. Finally, I have time to post about Matthew Andrei's McQueen Cars mini party.

Let me start with how we prepare for the party. Two weeks before the party, Daddy and I went to Divisoria to buy some party needs.

McQueen car cups at 2 pesos ea and McQueen paper plate for at 3 packs (of 10 pieces) for 100 pesos only

I just print out the banner and added McQueen car stickers.

Daddy and I cooked all the food. He even baked cupcakes. I am so sure he will tell you how his cupcakes have turned out. Hehe.

So let's fast forward, here is the birthday boy who just woke up from his afternoon sleep.

The little boy had a blast with these kids who are his constant guests on his birthday.

Balloons are everywhere. Did you know that at Divisoria, you can but those character balloons at 120 pesos for 12 pieces including the sticks? Yes, it's only 10 pesos each. While the rubber balloons with print is 85 pesos for 25 pieces and the stick is 1 peso each.

These are the cupcakes Daddy Allan baked. He needs more practice pa but they are yummy naman.

Then, the blowing of candle. And he wished for another birthday =)

It was a long tiring day but all is worth because the little boy was so happy that he's asking if it's still his birthday the next day. Haha! I think he liked his McQueen Car mini party so much!

Happy 4th Birthday Matthew Andrei!

June 16 will always be a special day for us. As God gave us one of the greatest blessings in our life, Matthew Andrei who turns 4 today. And it's not just his birthday because today another milestone in his life will happen.

Today is his first day in school and it's official! Our dear little Matthew Andrei is a school boy! Oh how time flies! He can do most of the chores on his own and it makes me smile and feel sad at the same time. I'm happy to see him growing independently, smart, active and healthy. But it also makes me feel sad that sooner, he will have his own world outside our home. I just always pray that he will remember all the lessons we are teaching him and also he can learn on his own. Because I can never be happier seeing him to be a successful, respectful good man.

Oh, I know it's just his 4th birthday so I still have years with him before he can live on his own independently. So please help me greet this smart, happy boy!

Homeschooling: Learning + Fun

Lately, I failed to give an update on our homeschooling journey. Honestly, our homeschooling schedule is not as often as before. My work and online shop get me so busy that I failed to give at least an hour to give way to our homeschooling. But not only that, I realize  I am  getting obsessed with homeschooling Matt. Almost forcing him to write and read. Unintentionally, I put pressure on him to learn fast. Yeah, I know, I shouldn't do that. He's only 3 but he knows so much for his age without proper schooling. He loves to learn at his own will. So I should really be thankful for that.

That's why I never force him now. I let him enjoy his toddler years. He loves puzzles so I buy him more puzzles with McQueen cars design. That makes him so so happy.

Welcome 2014!

Ang bilis! Yun na yun? New Year na, 2014 na. Good bye 2013!

This is a late post na and I think I still have the vacation hang over. Since we didn't got the chance to take a real rest, Daddy and I were a bit sick.

The minor home improvement at home kept us so busy during the holidays. Nevertheless, we are happy with how things turn out. I asked Daddy to take photos of what kept us busy but he hadn't taken any photo yet e. I'll show them to you one of these days. Uy, please don't expect much because it's really a minor home improvement.

SM Sale Loot

Hello Momsies! How's your weekend? Ang daming sale ano? Which means Christmas is fast approaching na.

You know what after so many mall sales that we have let passed, we finally went to SM Marilao mall-wide sale last Saturday. Actually the sale started last Friday pa and until yesterday. Supposedly we will go on Sunday but I told Daddy for sure super dami na ng tao by that day and pahirapan na ang parking plus traffic pa. So last Saturday off we went.
