After 10 years...

After 10 years, God blessed us with another bundle of joy. Although, honestly, I am in great fear because of all the years it is now that a health pandemic is going on that I got pregnant. But I know, it is God's will and He will protect us.

Let me now tell you the story of the moment we are waiting for. The first time we did a pregnancy test was April 9. Is my menstruation already delayed? Yes for few days palang naman. But what prompted me to do the test was I was not feeling well. Like I feel vomiting every time I see food or when I eat food or when I smell food. Also, I feel so tired in the afternoon with slight dizziness.

So April 9 we did the first test and it was like this.

Let's take a closer look. There's a not so clear second line there and there's a possibility that I am pregnant already.

I am not convinced that I am not pregnant or I am just convincing my self I am not, haha. And still waiting for my period to come but after 2 weeks it didn't happen. So April 24, we did the test again and it was clearly positive na.

Like what I have said, I have great fear but I am so happy. Because this is God's blessings. Actually, nagtatampo na nga ako kay Lord bakit ang tagal na wala pa kasunod si bulilit namin. But anyway, katulad ng lagi kong sagot sa mga taong paulit ulit ang tanong kung bakit wala pang kasunod ang anak namin e ang laki na (relate ka?), "hindi pa binibigay ni Lord e, in His time He will give us."

Anyway, my husband is happy too and he gives all my cravings. Sobra pa nga e. I asked for kutsinta na may niyog sana kaso wala pa pero binili na nya lahat ng klase ng kakanin, haha.

In my first pregnancy, pomelo din pinaglihian ko but actually I don't crave for it as much like before. Actually din I don't have cravings as much as before but still I don't like to eat chocolates and fish kasi nalalansahan ako sa lasa. Anything malansa I don't like. To confirm if I am really pregnant, we went to my OBGyne. I was surprised to know that they still keep my old medical records.

By the way, when we went to the clinic the first time naabutan kami ng cut off to avoid crowding. Just to let you know, safe pa din po pumunta ng clinics because they are observing physical distancing there. Kaya huwag sana matatakot yung mga buntis na magpacheck up because you need it more for you and your baby's safety, especially now.

So ayun after waiting for more than 3 hours, we got the great news. It is confirmed that I am 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant with a heartbeat. Thank God!

My OBGyne also asked me to have blood and urine tests, which came out all normal. Thank God again!

Now, I am praying hard for a safe and healthy pregnancy. Nakakastress man yung panahon ngayon, I am keeping myself calm, positive and happy. There are so many things to be grateful for naman hindi ba?

My son has a Youtube Channel, please Subscribe!

My son loves watching Youtube videos but it's always under supervision. his favorite channel is Ryan ToysReview. So one day he asked me if he can also have his own Youtube channel. 

At first, I was hesitant. He convinced me by telling me that he wanted to earn money through posting videos so I can quit my job. Maybe he sees how troubled I am because I can't do what I really love to do. Maybe hesees how I loved to be with him but I can't. And maybe he wants to see me when he get home from school to hug him when he had a bad day.

Just like the other day, when he called me crying. He said his teacher told him he will die because his head bumped the floor and it didn't bleed. He's crying because he's afraid daw to die. My heart is broken. I want to hug him tight but I can't. I want to kiss all his fears away but I am still away waiting for the workday to end.

So I am really troubled and I think I need to share this in another post. For now, I am asking you to please visit my son's Youtube channel. There are few funny videos there and we are apt for more videos, maybe toy reviews or family videos in the future.

Matthew's Christmas Party 2018

Two weeks ago, Matthew's Christmas Party was held. Can't believe how time flies because this little boy grow so fast. Look how big he is now.

I am not sure but for this year I think they don't have the usual program because it was examination week. Actually, it was the last day of their examination. 

Instead, they had their party in their respective rooms where they eat their Jollibee meals.

They also had their usual exchange gift.

Because I want to instill on him that it's better to give than to receive, we prepared gifts for his teachers and classmates.

I told him by giving he should not expect something in return. Just be happy and enjoy the day with his friends and classmates.

Which he did!

And he went home with this cute panda cap.

He loves it, isn't it obvious? Haha.

He wore that hat the entire day and night!

That's another mommy story I want to share with you. I really missed posting something like this, sharing stories about our not so little boy or just sharing my thoughts. I have to admit that because there's Instagram and Facebook already, which is a faster way to share stories now, it's time consuming to write personal post like this. Still, I am writing here at my online mommy diary to remind everyone that blogging is still fun.

Matthew Andrei's First Holy Communion

More than two weeks ago, our little boy received his first Holy Communion. But before that let me share some kwento. 

I took a leave from work that day. Daddy can't make it since he had a prior commitment he can't cancel. So solo parent ako. Anyway, Matthew's class was suspended to have ample time to prepare for their Holy Communion that is scheduled later that day. To not waste our time, I let him review his lessons since 3rd quarter exam na the following week.

After reviewing, I cooked our lunch. Oh, should I say I fry our lunch, which is tinapa from Nueva Ecija.

The clock ticks so fast that after eating our lunch, my little boy was rushing me to dress up. Malalate na daw sya. So here, we were able to make it on time naman. 

Ang bait lang nya tingnan hindi ba? Well, he did behaved the whole time since he was chosen as one of the children who will read the gospel.

It was so hard to take photos because he was at the side of the altar.

Also, there's an official photocgrapher para daw hindi magulo though I still manage to take some photos after they finished receiving their first Holy Communion.

I also took a photo with Father Roger (but I am not sure of his name, please forgive me father) who gave his first Holy Communion.

I almost cried when I saw him received the body of Christ. Because almost 8 years ago, in that same spot he was baptized.

He was a big 6-month old baby when he was baptized but look at him now, he's a big 8-year old boy

Our little boy is growing so fast. The next thing thing I know, I will be attending his wedding na. So, how can I not be emotional? I have all the right to be, right? Haha.

So this is another important mommy story I would like to share. Maybe I will be sharing less na since my little is growing and sometimes he wants his privacy.

My Big Boy and His Ambition

Hello everyone! So excited that the school year will soon be over. Vacation is almost here and that means I could also take a break from reviews, home works and also making bento baon.

Anyway, this will just be a quick post. I am on leave today until tomorrow. I am planning to blog but there are many house chores waiting for me.

Aside from that, it's exam week of Matthew and we will have to review hard because it's fourth grading already. So here's my big boy.

He's getting bigger and bigger. Just look at his school polo uniform. Kakapatahi lang nyan ha. Where does time goes? I will have a binata soon.

This little boy also has an ambition already. Look!

Tsk... Lagot na ang mga kriminal dahil andito na si Police Office Matthew Andrei. Uubusin nya daw kayo. Hehe.

I feel proud that he wants to serve our country. Buts eriously and honestly, if you will ask, I wouldn't want him to be a policeman. I couldn't handle the fear that everyday he will risk his life chasing criminals and protecting people. But if that's what he really wants then we will support him. Anyway, he is still young and he may change what he wants to be. Hopefully...
