Christmas Preparation and Our Noche Buena 2018

Ever since my mother died, we are celebrating Christmas at our hometown, Science of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija. My siblings used to go to our house to celebrate Christmas kasi. But now that our dear mother has gone to heaven, we are the one going to our hometown na lang.

We chose to travel early in the morning of December 23rd. Matthew still has school until December 20 as oppose to the DepEd's announcement that kids will start to enjoy their vacation on the 15th day of December. Although their classes will resume on January 7 naman so okay na din.

On that same day, we went to the mall to buy food for our Noche Buena.

While waiting for Daddy A, Matthew saw Jollibee. He asked me took photo of him with Jollibee but the truth is, he loves McDonald's more, haha.

The next day, which is the Christmas eve, we heard mass with my sister's family.

This is the Church where I was baptized, received my first Holy Communion and got married.

After Church, we went to my brother's house where we had our Noche Buena.

While waiting, these kids had so much fun together.

Photos above are from Matthew's phone, and this photo was taken by him too.

Here's our simple Noche Buena.

That night, we let the boys have some drinks while chit chatting.

It was a great night and we went back to my in-laws house at around 2:30am. Simple celebrations with family are always the best. Christmas celebration needs not be expensive, right?

How do you celebrate Christmas?
