Our Merry Christmas 2014

Belated Merry Christmas guys! Just got back to work after the Christmas break. Yes we have work today, December 29th.

So how's your Christmas celebration? Our's is still simple as the previous years of stay here in Bulacan. Initially, we planned to go to our hometown in Nueva Ecija so we can celebrate Christmas with our entire family there. But that didn't push through as my mother can not stand long hours of travel. Also, we have a bulk order to finish.

Oh yes, we gave in to a client's request but the deadline naman is January 15, 2014. That's why our at our spare time during the break, we do as much crochet as we can. Here are my two boys while we crochet early in the morning.

We had a bed weather day before Christmas because it's raining. Good thing Daddy and I already bought our ingredients for our Noche Buena the day before. So in the afternoon we had a movie marathon. Our boy enjoyed watching his favorite superhero now, Iron Man.

At 4 in the afternoon, Daddy and I decided to cook our food for Noche Buena. After we had dinner, we convinced Matthew to sleep early so he can wake up for Noche Buena then open his gifts from Santa. Thank goodness he gave in and he soundly sleep on our sofa while Daddy and I were busy crocheting.

At 10 in the evening, while Daddy was busy roasting, I slept with Matthew. Then I woke up at 11 and saw this post of Daddy :)

I wasn't expecting any gifts from Daddy because we don't usually give gifts to each other. I am happy that he remembered giving me a gift and it's something he knows that's useful to me - a new bag!

This was the bag I initially want for our exchange gift. Thanks Daddy! Yun gift mo sa birthday mo na ha. Ipon muna ulit so sure na bongga yun, hehe.

Back to the little boy naman. He woke up before the clock hit 12.

He was so excited and kept on asking if he can already open his gifts. But we told him we will eat first. So here's our simple Noche Buena.

Then came the time of gift opening. Look who's so happy!

On Christmas day, we went to Divine Mercy Shrine to hear a Mass and give thanks to God for all the blessings he's pouring on us. After the Mass, we saw Santa coming out of the Church's terrace and throwing gifts.

We took some photos after braving the crowd, haha.

Finally, we went home and continue crocheting.

That's how we celebrate of Christmas. We are happy just spending time together. I pray that next year, we can spend Christmas at our home town with all of my siblings.

Next post naman is about New Year na. Time flies so fast! Are you excited too?

Let's claim it! A Blessed and prosperous 2015!
