BC Bloggers Meme: A Day in My Not So Boring Life

BC_BLOGGERS

I have missed two BC Blogger Memes already so for this week I think I can make it so here I am writing about it. Haha. Anyway, the topic of this week's meme is "A Day in My Not So Boring Life".

I am a working mom so expect that I have a busy life. Aside from my fulltime work, I also have blogs to update  and online shop to take care of. So here's my 24-hour schedule:

My day starts at

5:00 am

At this time, I am usually wide awake. Daddy Allan usually take the bath first so while waiting for him, I check my email messages, may online shop FB page and mylot.

5:10-5:30 am

Take a bath and dress up for work.

5:30-6:00 am

Prepare breakfast and our baon for lunch. Usually at this time also, Matt is already awake. As usual, he is on his most energetic self following me everywhere I go. He don't like waking up without mommy by his side.

6:10 am

Bye-bye time to Matt. Matt is either inside watching Dora, Baby Genius or Mickey Mouse, or he is out with his Tita for morning stroll, if the weather is fine. What is good about Matt he is already understand that we need to go to work everyday. So there's no crying time every time we say bye-bye. He will even kiss us and say "take care!", with flying kiss and beautiful eyes when we are already inside the car.

7:00 am -12:00 pm

Work, work, work... We have 15 minutes coffee break so I take advantage over this. I will write a blog post as fast as I can or research about baby accessories or update my online shop. If there's online shop inquiry I also take seconds to answer it. Hehe.

12:00 - 1:00 pm

Lunch break. Whew! I always bring my DIYs stuffs with me so during lunch break I am busy doing crafts and DIYs. I really don't want to waste my precious free time. Lol.

1:00-5:00 pm

Back to work. Patiently waiting for the clock to strike 5! I know you are too, right?

5:00 pm

Time to go home. If we don't have other errands to go to, we immediately go home. We love going home to the sweetest smile, the contagious laughter and the eardrum breaking screams of our little son.

6:00 pm

Home at last! Matt is surely excited to open the gate for us. He already know the sound of Daddy's car. I always say "Hello Mamatt!" so he imitates that right after he heard the car parking. Oh, he loves pasalubong. He will peek inside our bags or look at what we are holding. So Daddy and I need to have something to bring home for him. I love hearing his "Wow!". He is so appreciative whether it's a small lollipop or a burger or an ice cream. You can see how delightful he is and that's more than enough to take away the stress and tiredness we have.

6:00-8:00 pm

Dinner time. If Tita did not cook yet, we will prepare dinner so it will take us an hour for the preparation. Lucky that we have Tita with us for she take care of everything. From cleaning the house, doing laundry and cooking. She's doing all these while taking care of Matt. Well, according to her Matt behaves well when only the two of them are left at home. Matt will strike once Mom and Dad are around. I told you, he is like a ball that keeps on bouncing around. He never get tired and never lose his energy. He will look into everything we are doing. So we'll take our dinner that usually last more than usual since Matt is very aggressive and would want to do everything on his own. I then do my night rituals and brush Matt 's teeth.

8:00 pm

At this time, we are already upstairs at our bedroom. Matt and I read his favorite books, do some tickling and cuddling, and sing nursery songs. I don't know why it took him almost 2 hours now before he finally close his eyes. Sometimes, Mom and Dad are asleep already, and I can still overhear him singing ABC, Ako ay May Lobo and now Bahay Kubo.

If Matt will sleep earlier, Dad and I are still up until 10:00 pm to do crafts. Like last night, we do a pair of booties. I try to put Matt to sleep but he wouldn't so we decided to stop and just sleep.

That's a day in my life. If you want to share yours why not join us at BC Bloggers? Join HERE. We will be happy to be joined by you.
